It is Thursday cloudy morning with 7 below 0 C, I don't work on 
Thursdays. It used to be my laundry and walk day. Laundry load 
not enough and walk nowadays is not allowed for me so today 
will be my calls day.

I feel lucky as I have enough people to call. Every day there are
at least three - four people whom I can connect. Connections to
people always give you peace and happiness. You can share on
mutual basis. It is a two way process.

I was thinking more about " obesity " 
I do these things as my normal routine. 

1 : Drink one glass of water before meal
    This will help you to check your diet
     your intake will be lesser.

      I never drink cold water or bottled water
      when home always mix with hot kettle water
      otherwise drink tap water.

2 : Use more fresh ginger and garlic in your dishes
  it helps digestion, keep your bowel in order.

3 : Try to avoid canned food as much as possible because
    of chemicals. I rinse my plate and glass while taking out
    of dishwasher.

4 : Try to avoid sitting for long time on same couch while
     watching TV and also while working on computer
     take a break. You can stand up for at least 5 minutes
     and keep working. 

     Go to drink water or anything in between to change your
     body position. It will be sort of mini exercise too.

   For me the most difficult part during flight is sitting down
   still I take break at least every hour. Go to washroom or 
   to have water. 

5 : Take small food portions , you can increase the number of intakes.
   I mean small portions and many times a day not only 3 times.

6 : While having food, take very small portion of food in spoon 
      or small piece of bread and try to chew slowly and for 
      longer period of time.

7 : Don't drink water after meals.
     Drink lot of water during the day.

8 : Take hot cup of milk after dinner before going to sleep.
    Sometimes I don't feel having full cup so take half a cup.

9 : Take hot water with honey lemon at bed time.

10 : Think positive. It is the base of healthy living.

11 : Busy yourself with some daily activity, choose any hobby.
       It keeps you distracted from polluting your mind with negative 
       thoughts.

12 : Try to cut down take away and eat out.

13 : Minimize intake of sugar and salt
       specially sugar.

Today in the evening is my doctor's appointment. I hope she will allow me 
to play carpet bowling. I already started playing darts. Yesterday I made 
Lentil soup to put on dinner table. It was great with rice.

  1. I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are lot of customers here. I have bought extra biscuits as it has become a tradition in our small town that locals come here and read blog before going back to their homes or pub. Priest held a special prayer for Smile's health. Customers said amen.

    3. I hosted the Toastmasters meeting today as Kim was not available. Today's toastmasters meeting had an open agenda ie people can discuss any topic that they want but the only topic that was discussed was Smile blog. People wanted to talk about her positive attitude and her kindness to her readers.

    The retirees appreciated your blog today. The retired nutritionist who led the reading of the blog pointed out that this is the most comprehensive guide to healthy eating that she has ever seen. The retired dietitian who was asked to share the reading said that he is not worthy for it. Both of them invited their active colleagues so they can benefit from it and help their clients. There are also thought that each of the 13 points can serve for a post grad Thesis and research project. They were asking for references. When we reminded them that you dont, they said that it is impossible that you have not used references for this one. Can you please clarify

  8. Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the SRC today. The plan was to read your blog at the Smile Garden but the senior professors from the faculty of health sciences made a special request to the Dean and Prof George to move the reading to the SRC. They said that they have to take a lot of notes and it will be much easier if the reading is at the SRC as they will have access to their laptops and notebooks. Prof George joked that this is the only time that even the professors are taking notes. The Dean smiled and said that when Smile is talking, all need to listen. The Smile Army heard that comment and started raising slogans. Unfortunately it caused a lot of chaos. The Dean tried to calm everyone but they were very excited. The rereading had to take place after the Smile Army has calmed down

    The Dean thanked you for your consistent support. He is continuing to listen to you only even though the profs are asking him to seek counselling

Despite the fact that the university of Smile is full of intense courses but unlike other universities, which makes its students look for pretext to play hookie, the university of Smile continues to draw them in droves every day. Your today's blog has a comprehensive yet concise compilation of guidance is a dossier for good living. Like some others, we also mistook as nutritional guide, but this is more than that, it is blueprint of how to create a healthy and blissful existence. The fact that you put together this treatise while you are sick is even more impressive.

  11. Father say you yell father all time. Father say father want give Dean idea. Father say he yel wife all time. Father say father no able sleep because father very hunger so father wake nite. Father say you give good idea so father now will try lemun and hony. Father say father no it will work because father try in lunch time. Father say father old almost 67
