Thought Of The Day

  May 30th 2023 Beautiful morning, great weather. It is 8.15, 16 C right now. I am outside, on my deck, sitting on one of the red knitted steel chairs. Enjoying oatmeal porridge and my morning cup of tea.  Summer is short at our place, in Canada. We have to avail every moment of it, to enjoy our time.  Summer is time to get out, to hit roads, trails and water. Do whatever you can, taking health and safety into account. Sometimes we don't have to go, to far places. Grab a seat, to enjoy your quiet time. Just sit in your garden / balcony, to sit quietly, to be in the moment. You will feel great. I use to do that, specially in evening time. Days are longer nowadays. We have to find opportunities, to enjoy it fully. Sitting quietly, enjoying the Nature around, is amazing. It gives you inner peace. It is sort of meditation.  Sometimes, we have to take some time off. Don't have to think about others. Don't have to evaluate our own inner self. Just relax, to be with the moments in

  May 27th 2023 Beautiful morning sunny and bright. Perfect weather. Lush green grass is all around. Red and white flowers are smiling in the flower bed at the back of my garden. Two white planters loaded with pink and purple flowers, are looking great, at the right side. Couple of small black birds are enjoying their morning walk.  Life looks great. No complaints. I believe, attitude is the key to decide, how you feel inside. Life is like a mixed plate. Combo of bitter and sweet, same for everyone. It depends, how we take it. Life is like a trail with bushes around. You have to find your way through. Try to pick flowers of happiness from here and there, whenever you can. It will make your day. Our life is like a story book, we keep on compiling every day. Every moment matters. It adds up our story. Try to compile something positive, to leave for our kids, to enjoy later on, after we leave.     May 23rd 2023 Beautiful morning, nice weather. It was long weekend. Monday was a close holiday. My niece, my sister's daughter came to stay with me, on Sunday. She came with my younger brother and his wife. We had BBQ, enjoyed together. My late brother-in law's daughter came too with her husband and son. They were also there, to enjoy. It is good to be with your loved ones, to enjoy the rare moments. Not every day, we get such opportunities. Nice to be connected. Everyone is different. We get a chance to know them, while spending some time. In gatherings, everyone talks in his/her own style. Their opinions and ideas may be conflicting with your ideas. We learn to be patient, to listen to everyone. It is a unique time to enjoy together and a learning opportunity, to improve our listening talent. Listening is a great skill.   Today, looks like a rainy day. It started last night, still drizzling. Grass is lush green. Rain drops scattered like pearls around. My deck is all wet, washed and clean, thanks to the rain. Red and white flowers looking great, in the flower bed, at the back. Purple flowers are smiling in the two white platters. Summer is different with green and colors all around.  It is 1015, I am sitting in my room. My computer is switched on. I am going through my Facebook messages. My daughters are calling me from Kent and Grimsby. They are calling together. It is nice to connect with both of them at the same time. They are in a hurry. It is weekend, they must be busy with so many things. Family matters and other commitments.  We parents have to appreciate our kids for whatever time, they manage, to talk, to get connected with us. Not easy at their age. We have to put ourselves in their shoes, to realize their situation. How much, we were able to do for our parents. Not much, to be honest. It is

  May 16th 2023 Weather is like a roller coaster. Today, it is on a cooler side. We need light jackets to get out. Couple of days ago, we had to switch on our AC at home. We have to accept whatever is there. Just go with the flow to move on, to make our day. It is 8.30, I am enjoying my oatmeal porridge, sitting outside, at my deck. Nice cool breeze, with flowers around. Everything looks so perfect, so beautiful, amazing. My son and his wife, planted seasonal red, yellow, and white flowers, in the flower bed, on the back side. Two of my white planters are also looking great with purple flowers.  It looks like a real summer around. Couple of small black birds are enjoying their morning walk, on the left side of my garden. I miss my friend, the Black squirrel. May be he came early for his exercises. I see the small Red bird sitting on the tree, beside. She comes once a while. She is beautiful.  I am done with my porridge, going inside to get my tea, to enjoy that too, outside, at my deck

  Great weather 16 C, beautiful morning. I started my day a bit late. Sometimes your body doesn't want to listen to you. You have to go with the flow. Let your body to rewind. Give her a break. She listens to you, ready to co- operate, to go with your plans. You have to listen to her too, once a while.  Nothing works one sided. There is always, " Give and Take" in all relationships. This works and helps to maintain peace and harmony, to move forward.  It is 9.15, I am done with my breakfast, enjoying morning tea at my deck, sitting on one of the red knitted steel chairs, very comfy. My son got four of these, couple of years back, from Home Depot. I pulled my chair to the back side, to sit under the shade. Such a beautiful view. Air is loaded with the fragrance of freshly cut grass. Aroma of beautiful flowers, is all around. My son is preparing the flower bed at the back side of my garden. Last evening,    from one of the Nursery,  he with his wife, got variety of flowers

  Beautiful sunny bright morning. It is 13 C, amazing. Magnolia tree is loaded with beautiful many shades of lilac color flowers. Red and Golden yellow Tulips are also adding up the beauty of my garden. It is like cherry on top. C ouple of months back,  my son sprinkled some Tulip seeds by the side of my garden. It is now in full bloom.  I like Tulips, it's radiant colors, always ready to spread happiness around. It looks summer is here with all of it's beauty and glamor. Yellow gold Weeds on lush green grass, also looking great. It was raining  off and on,  all week. My son is delaying lawn moving, waiting to let the ground completely dry out. Weeds have time, to bloom for a while. It is Tuesday, garbage pick up day in our neighborhood. Yellow and brown trucks are here to collect bottles, papers and kitchen garbage stuff, from our blue and green bins. Garbage to be picked up not every week.   Beautiful morning, sunny and bright. Weather is great, 15 C. No rain, no clouds, it is a clear blue sky. I am done with my breakfast, now sitting in my room with my switched on computer. Blinds of my windows, are drawn up. I am enjoying scenic view of the outside world. Magnolia tree is loaded with beautiful flowers of many pink shades. It is looking great. Grass is lush green. Red wooden bench is shining, under the sun, on the left side of my front garden. Couple of birds are walking around, enjoying their time. It is summer time. Time to get out, to hit the roads. To go to lakes and Trails, to make plans, to enjoy. It is 11.15, my youngest daughter is calling me from Reading. She is putting me on video call, to show me her dress and her cooking. She is going to a get together dinner. All her three sisters will be there. One of my niece arranged that, in honor of the newly wed, Bride and Groom.   May the 2nd 2023 It is my birthday today. Every day is the same. We have to make it special, to feel good, to enjoy our moments. It is cloudy, not raining. I can make plan to walk to Tim Hortons. To enjoy my time alone, my one fourth coffee, three fourth hot water, three creams and one sugar. I am not a coffee person and also at our age, we have to watch, what we eat. What to drink and how much will be enough for us.  It is 10.30, I am in my room with my computer switched on. My daughters calling me from Kent, Grimsby and Reading. My eldest daughter is enjoying with her husband. She is not in Edmonton, she is in Greece. She called me too, sending pictures from there, to share scenic places. I am happy for her. She was living single, for years, now there is someone to share her moments and to enjoy with her. My younger sister called me too. She is back home, living alone, enjoys time, watching favorite TV shows and busy with Facebook. She never complains about living alone. I think, t
