Thought Of The Day

  Friday -- Beautiful sunny morning. Weather getting better every day. Not so cold. Just 6 C below zero. Couple of days back, it was 16 C below zero. What a change. Change is always great, changes the entire scenario. Snow is all around, will take time to melt down.  It is 9.45, I am in my room, sitting with my computer also enjoying the scenic  view through my window. Snow on my garden, sparkl ing under the sun   like gold and silver.  Such an amazing view to behold, to cherish. Trees standing quietly but look happy, enjoying the sunny morning. Red wooden bench shining on the white of my garden. I can't see any car on driveways, in my neighborhood. All hiding in garage, waiting for orders to proceed. I can not hear much traffic on the nearby Whites Road too. It is Friday, may be People are in a holiday, weekend mood. Nowadays I am working part time, as activities started in our Senior club.   Tuesday -- Beautiful sunny morning. Today not so cold, getting better everyday. Things change. We have to be patient. It is Zero degree, not below zero anymore. Snow still here, all around. Not going anywhere for couple of more days. It is Canada, my dear. What you expect. Anyway  March is just around the corner. Nothing to worry about. It is 10.30, I am sitting in my room. My computer is beside me. Window blinds are drawn up. I am enjoying the view of outside also browsing my Facebook messages. Trees are standing quietly. No wind. Looks, atmosphere is calm and quiet. No traffic around in my neighborhood. Cars hiding inside garage. Some sitting quietly on driveways, for orders to proceed. I can't see any grass on my front garden. It is all covered under the white blankest, taking refuge from the Canadian cold.  Red wooden bench  on my garden,  is looking great on the white velvety carpet.   Friday -- It is 11.15, I am done with my breakfast, sitting in my room with my computer, enjoying the view of the world outside, through my windows. It is snowing since last night. Lots of snow on the ground. Trees loaded with  white stuff. Red wooden bench covered with white powder,  looking great. Snow clearing truck is busy to clear the round about area. I can see the smoky black of the road from the under. W hite flakes are  still showering from up and above, to mess things up. We have to do our portion of work anyway. Do what you can. To support, to pitch in. It always counts, makes a difference. I salute the snow truck worker for doing his job. Doing, what he can.  I am going through my Facebook messages. My childhood, Grade five friend, writes to me every day, from Perth, Australia. It is night time at her place. We are living in different time zones. Twenty four hours apart.  We use to share messages every day. Nothing important to talk. Just use to share our day to day matte

  Tuesday -- Beautiful bright morning cold with 21 below zero. It was snowing last night. Trees are loaded with white flowers and roads are carpeted with white stuff. Sun is peeping out through the smoky skies. It is a wonderful atmosphere to behold.  The green of my front yard is all covered under the white blanket. Red wooden bench is embedded, half under the snow. My son is busy clearing the driveway so my youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy can go to school. His school is at a  walking distance.  My eldest grandson, the Lucky Guy has his own plans. He is going to Haliburton to his friend's cottage. Snow rarely comes in our way. It rarely is able to disrupt our plans. We Canadians have learned to deal with all that. It is 10.30, my son going to get groceries.   Happy New Year  To  My  Chinese Readers Friday -- Another beautiful  morning, sunny and cold, 17 C below zero, feels like 23 below. Nothing to worry about. We know, these are last couple of more weeks. We are getting closer to March. Spring is just around the corner. It is 10.30, through my bedroom window,  I am enjoying the world outside.  Sun is peeping out, through blue sky. Snow is glittering all around. Grass of my front garden, is out of the white blanket but I can see some white stuff at places. Grass is not lush green. It is now dark green with yellowish tinge. White beautiful sketches of snow, making my front yard, scenic, to behold.  My computer table is by the window of my room. On the left is my bed, closer to my Closet. On my right,  is my sewing machine, closer to the other window. I use  that, to repair my old favorite clothes, which I am reluctant to throw away.  After having breakfast, I use to spend some time in my room. We have to keep in mind that we have to give

  Tuesday -- Beautiful sunny morning.  14 C below zero.  Snow everywhere,  glittering under the sun, making atmosphere, scenic, to behold the beauty of moments.  Nature is amazing, changes every moment, providing us variety of sceneries, in all seasons, to enjoy and to cherish the beauty. We have to focus, as every scene is not to come back, not to repeat.   Friday -- It is mixed sunny cloudy windy morning, here in Toronto with 4 C below zero, feels like 12 below zero, gusts 45 km.   News Channel showing scenes of some road accident because of i cy road conditions. It is 10.15, I am done with my breakfast, having tea, sitting in my room. My computer is switched on, to connect with the people, I want to. Blinds of my windows are drawn up, to connect with the world outside.  Looks quite windy, skeleton trees shaking their heads, their bodies shivering. White powder all over on the green of my front garden. Red wooden bench sitting quietly, holding her breath.  It looks like a wait and see situation.   Tuesday -- Beautiful sunny morning cold, 6 C below zero, feels like 13 below zero. February already started. We are few weeks away from March. March, the time of spring, will start soon. We have to look forward for something, in the positive direction. Have to set our targets beforehand, to focus on something, to feel good, to stay away from thinking negative. Nothing matters, the only thing matters, is thinking negative. It will take us to downward situation. The more we are into it, the more will be tough to be out of it. Don't let, to get it started, to overpower your personality.  Negative thinking is like a disease, sort of Cancer. We have to keep us away from that at any cost. Very easy solution, sort of remedy. Keep pushing yourself to go into positive. Keep your day plan ready to go ahead with that.  Try to live in day tight compartment. Leave no space for negative thoughts. You will be fine.
