Skeleton Trees loaded with Flowers

Image
December not even started and snow is everywhere. Skeleton trees are loaded with white cottony flowers. My Lexus and SUV, are under white sheet. My son is busy, clearing the driveway. Tuesdays are garbage pick up days in our neighborhood. People putting the Bins outside. My grandson, the youngest one is leaving for school, with two jackets on. We Canadians know, how to deal with our winter days. No worries. I already signed up for my work tomorrow. I go to play Darts on Wednesdays and Fridays.  We have to capture any chance  available , to get out, to make our day. Don't have to wait for tomorrow. We never know, what happens tomorrow. Things change. Our health, the circumstances, nothing will be the same. Value the present moment. Moments go on draining out of our hands, for never to come back. Do it, what you can, within health and safety limits. Use Masks and keep distancing please. We have to follow the Directives. It is a must in this Covid time period. I keep my documents re

My Documents are Ready

It is one of cold bright mornings of late November. I am just back from my work. I am all set with my documents, my double vaccine Passport and my ID. I am back to my work, playing Darts from 10 to 11.30 on Wednesdays and Fridays. I skipped two weeks after my trip to England. We have to follow the Directives.  It is very windy, gusts around 50 km, looked to me that I will be blown away. My son was there, outside the library, to pick me up. I didn't have to stay out for long. So nice of him. We have to appreciate, what our kids do for we parents.  I have to wash my hair, make some calls, book doctor's appointment for my off and on head spinning at night and have to write my Blog too.  Busy day for me. First thing first, have to make calls. I will call my colleague back home. He was in Chemistry department. We worked together for more than a decade. We are still in touch. It brings unique experience, while connecting with the people, you  shared time together. It revives old ti

It is cold sunny morning, 3 C below Zero, feels like 6 C below. My deck is loaded with Silver. Gold and Bronze, in my back garden, all mixed up with Snow Flakes, glittering under the sun. It is giving a beautiful view, to behold. Days are passing. Every day brings new experiences, new Wonders, to make our moments. Nature is amazing. Every day I open patio doors to enjoy the breeze outside. Today, I skip. We have to be careful at our age. It is not good to be a liability to our kids. They are already busy with their own things, work and family matters. We have to avoid to put extra pressure. Let them enjoy their life. I am planning to do my laundry. Washer and Dryer is in Basement, my eldest grandson is sleeping, I have to wait for him, to wake up. I don't want to disturb him. It is good to respect everyone's privacy. It helps smooth running of relationships. That is a must in Household, for a peaceful atmosphere. Being elder, we have more responsibility. From tomorrow, I am p

I am at Tim Hortons

Another beautiful sunny morning of November. Days are passing quickly. Things go on changing. Just one more month to go to start another new year. Chapter of 2021 will be closed.  It is 8.45, I am sitting in my eat - in kitchen, next to patio doors. My back garden is loaded with Gold. Some Bronze and Copper leaves are also scattered around. Such a scenic view to behold, can't see any flower. I think, they are taking time off, taking a break. It is 10.30, I am in my room with my computer switched on, browsing messages from friend and family. My grade five childhood friend messages me every day from Perth, Australia. Lucky to have someone to share with, at your age. We can relate, what we talk.  It is 11.30, my son has to go to doctor for his routine check up. I am going to Tim Hortons. He will drop me there, I will walk back after. I am at Coffee House. They are taking my name, my phone number, checking my ID, my double vaccine passport.  It is a new world, so much has changed.  T

It is beautiful cold sunny morning of mid November, 2 C, feels like one below zero. Winter already started. Yesterday went to Petticoat Creek, it was very cold, I had to be back in my car after few minutes. Although I was wearing warm jacket and gloves, not enough, I think. I have to take out my heavy coat from now on. We have to dress up according to the weather conditions. Have to go with the flow. It is 9.15, I am done with my breakfast, now in my room. My computer is in front, window curtains are drawn up. I can see my front garden, also the view of my neighborhood. It is Tuesday, our garbage pick up day. Blue, Green and Grey bins are all lined up on  driveways. I salute all the front line workers for their efforts to make our lives easy, in this Covid period of time. We have to value their contributions. They are great. My daughter, the middle one, called me from Grimsby. She was going back from school. Her day is nearly done. It is already afternoon in England. She usually talk

Passed My Tests - I Did It

Beautiful sunny morning of early November, in Toronto. We have couple of more days to enjoy before temperature will start dipping to sub zero. Trees will be like skeletons, leaves will start turning into Gold, Copper and Bronze.  I am beck from my trip to England, visiting my daughters and my grand kids, attending the wedding ceremony and celebrations of my grand daughter, in Grimbsy and Hull. Hull is bigger town so the main function was in Mercure Hotel, there. Guest were in Premier inn Hotel, in Grimsby. Hull is one hour drive from Grimbsy. My trip was short, just for three weeks, lot of things to accomplish like, in person Covid testing at designated locations, waiting twenty four hours for the results. It was must before flight. In England, within two days, Testing and Posting the kits in the designated post Boxes, waiting for results till the next day. In case you are positive, you have to quarantine for fourteen days. I was keeping my fingers crossed, might miss the entire wedd
