Happy New Year Happy Holidays To My Dear Readers  It is cloudy misty morning of 31st December. New year 2021 is fading away leaving bunch of memories, sweet and sour. Any year is like a mixed plate, can't be total plus. Same is life, like a Combo of happy moments mixed with some challenges to tackle. Same was the year 2021. We managed to handle things around Covid. That was really great. Weather is mild today, 2 C below zero at my place in Toronto. My eldest daughter is in Edmonton, over there, is 50 C below zero. She is ok with that. They have special coats and boots to handle that weather. We Humans are amazing, we can mange any circumstances. It is the last day of 2021, tomorrow is New year 2022. For the last two years, it is totally different scenario because of Covid situation. Gatherings and parties are on hold. We have to follow Directives. This is for our own safety, for our loved ones and for the people around. We have to keep social distancing and use Masks whenever req

It is mixed sunny cloudy morning with 2 C. Sun is hiding somewhere inside the hazy sky. O n the misty canvas,  I see some beautiful blue sketches, like paintings in water color. What a scenery. Nature is great. We can enjoy every season, every day, all time. Thank You God for Your Blessings. We don't deserve that. Christmas is done. New Year about to give it's entry. Gatherings and parties, all on hold. It is sort of lock down here in Canada. Malls and stores are open with limited capacity. We can't shut down businesses.  It is a changed world. People with Masks and keeping distance, to not to come close. No hugs, no shake hands. Kids busy with computers, so ae we elders. Nowadays it is very important to focus on something positive. Anything, to get busy, to keep ourselves away from negative thoughts, away from thinking low, to not, to be depressed. Everyone is home, not many places to get out. It is a must to give everyone privacy, have to stay away from interfering othe

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays To all my Dear Readers Enjoy your festive moments  with Masks on.  Follow the Directives.  Keep social distancing.  This is a must in this COVID period. Hope things will be better soon. Let's hope for the good. Have patience. Patience wins in all circumstances, resolves problems, helps to make our day. It is December 24th, day before Christmas. Beautiful morning. Snow everywhere. Skeleton trees are decorated with white powder. My front and back garden is covered under white blanket. Driveways are spotless, all white. Cars covered under white sheet. Beautiful atmosphere to cherish. It is a White Christmas, no doubt about that. Most offices will be having half days. My son is off this week. He is busy packing gifts for neighbors. My eldest grandson will be off at 2 pm. He has his own plans. Kids have to enjoy their own time. We don't have to interfere. It is their time, their life, to enjoy with whatever they want. We have to respect their privacy

I Don't Deserve That

It is Tuesday bright beautiful sunny morning. Nearly end of December. Year 2021 is leaving us with many questions, unanswered, like when this Covid period will end. When we will be out of Masks and start our normal life. This is all unpredictable. For now we have to follow the Directives to ensure the safety for others and also for our own self . This is the only choice we have for now.  Stay strong, have patience and go with the flow. Try to do what you can, to make your time. Have to tackle things with dignity and grace. Ups and downs are norms of  life. This too shall pass. There is always light at the end of tunnel. Stay positive to stay strong. Things will be sorted in due course.  Take one day at a time. Plan your day to get busy with whatever you like to do. Busy with your garden. There are so many indoor hobbies too, to be busy with. Have some pots of flowers or veggies, water and enjoy to watch them grow. Start reading your favorite books / Magazines. Enjoy cup of Tea / Coff

Beautiful morning bright and sunny. Snow is on hold for sometime. May be next week. Let's see. Enjoy for now. Tomorrow is tomorrow. Present moment is everything. Don't have to waste the moment in hand. It is 12.30, I am just back from work, from playing Darts. We got some good News today that our Carpet Bowling is about to start soon. Great. Things are getting back to normal. F ollow the rules, wear Masks and keep social distancing, to control this Covid from spreading and to carry on your activities. Do what you want to do to enjoy your time, to make your day. Thinking about Carpet Bowling, I keep my finger crossed. It is two years time, we haven't played that, because of Covid situation. In these two years, so much is changed. I am two years older, my health must be, not so good as to throw Balls. Let's see. I am not so sure. For now I am enjoying my Darts. It is 12.45, I am in my kitchen, making banana shake for my son and for myself. My daughters calling me from K

Beautiful morning. Sun shining, up and above, in full bloom, to make our day. No rain no snow for now. It is 3 C feels like zero. It is like a summer for we Canadians. We are enjoying. Not have to bundle up in layers. Just a jacket will be enough. Grass looking great on my front and back gardens.  Not  windy, looks a calm quiet atmosphere. Skeleton trees not shaking their heads, standing quietly, waiting for what be the next. We know this is mid December. Things will change quickly. Snow will be anytime soon.  We learned our lessons, just bring it on, we can handle. Yesterday, cars were not available. My eldest grandson has to go to work, in person, every day. My daughter in law goes twice a week. My lake trip, not possible at that time. I chalk out my plans before hand, to switch, to get busy. We have to be ready for anything. Nothing is so important, which can ruin your day. Keep plan "B" ready to make your day. I was busy with my laundry, had to do two loads, to change m

Cold cloudy morning. Sun is hiding somewhere under grey blankets. My back garden is no more a garden now. Flowers are taking a break. Grass looking beautiful with white powder sprinkled over, here and there. It is a scenic view to behold. Winter season has it's own beauty. It is 8.30, I have to get ready to go to work, to play Darts.  I am at the library, with my mask on. Game has to start in five minutes. We have to pick numbers to decide teams. I am in team number three. We have three players in each team. We are twelve players, today in total. Kitchen counter looking great with variety of cookies and cupcakes. Tea and coffee pots are ready. Such a festive atmosphere. We waited so long for all this.  We take break after couple of games to enjoy our coffee time. It is nice to have company around in this Covid period. We have to show our vaccine passport and other papers to make sure that safety is not an issue and we all are following the Directives. It is important to tackle th

It is one of the cold mornings of early December. Temperature is dipping to sub zero. It is normal for these days. We are ready with our our coats, hats and gloves on, to counter the Canadian cold. We start sorting our closets for heavy coats by the end of October. No worries. We are ready. Bright beautiful morning. Sun keeps showing it's presence to elevate our moods, to make our days. So nice of him. Anyone can make a difference. Keep trying to spread happiness around.  It is Tuesday, working day. My son is busy with his work. My eldest grandson, the Lucky Guy left for his new job. He was in bank for couple of weeks, he didn't like that, now changed to a new one. He is happy. Pay is good and also the working atmosphere. Kids nowadays, know what they are doing. We have to trust their caliber and capabilities.  My youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy left for school. He opted for in person schooling. I think kids are now bored with isolation, want to connect with their friends

It is 11.45, I am just back from my work, playing Darts from 10 to 11.30. We have to fill the long form, show our double vaccine passport and our ID, every time we go. It is lot of work but no pain, no gain my dear. Nothing is total plus, there is always something negative. We have to check the balance and go for that. This is Covid time period. This Virus is not going anywhere soon so do whatever you can. Follow the SOPs and Directives to start doing your routine things, to make your day.  We can not lock ourselves down to stay away from everyone. Use your Mask, follow the distancing and that's it. We have to go with the flow.  It is 12.30, I am in my room with my computer, to connect with my friends and family. My daughter, the middle one is calling me from Grimsby. She is going back from work. It is already evening at her place. She is five hours ahead of my time in Toronto. It is 1.30, my youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy is back from school.
