I Love My Sprinklers

It is 11.45, I am just back from my work, playing Darts from 10 to 11.30. We have to fill the long form, show our double vaccine passport and our ID, every time we go. It is lot of work but no pain, no gain my dear. Nothing is total plus, there is always something negative. We have to check the balance and go for that.

This is Covid time period. This Virus is not going anywhere soon so do whatever you can. Follow the SOPs and Directives to start doing your routine things, to make your day. 

We can not lock ourselves down to stay away from everyone. Use your Mask, follow the distancing and that's it. We have to go with the flow. 

It is 12.30, I am in my room with my computer, to connect with my friends and family. My daughter, the middle one is calling me from Grimsby. She is going back from work. It is already evening at her place. She is five hours ahead of my time in Toronto.

It is 1.30, my youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy is back from school. It is his break time. I have to go to my kitchen, to make something of his choice. You feel good to put smile on the faces of your loved ones and the faces around.

I have to make banana shake too for my son and for my own self. We never have to forget to give treat to ourselves. It keeps your body in a good mood, to co-operate with your things to do. These chores help me to live in day tight compartments, also work for me like sprinklers of happiness. Keep me, stay away from negative thoughts. No space to enter, anything negative. Life is good.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
