Pick the Golden Moments to Cherish

Image
It is Sunday beautiful morning sunny bright with 2 C below zero.  This  was a busy week for me with full of events, full of joy. On Thursday, I was at Manderine, enjoying lunch with my Senior Club members. On Friday, my son was going to London, Ontario, two hours away, to  represent  his company for some big international event. I opted to go  there, also invited  my younger brother and his wife to accompany me. My son was busy with his event, we three enjoyed our time together.  It is always good to be with the company of your choice. To enjoy, to cherish and to save the golden moments, for your memory box. Life is like a trail with bushes all around. Such moments are like flowers  of happiness, we have to pick, to collect, to make our life beautiful, full  of life. We were back from London around 2 am after midnight.  Construction  was going on the Highway so all lanes were closed. We were stuck there for an hour. This rarely happens here in Toronto. It

It is Tuesday bright beautiful sunny cold morning with 2 C below zero. Windy too with gusts around 40 km. Sun, here in Canada doesn't mean  anything.  It is like Moonlight with no heat, still looks great, makes our days brighter. Snow is all around, trees are with  cottony  white  flowers. Beautiful view to  behold.  It is very quiet in my backyard. Black Squirrel not there, I think  he is still  in bed.  Trees handling quietly the Canadian weather. I believe winter is the season to ponder, to go through your insight,  to be  inquisitive about your own self. It is time to take a break. I can see  thick slab of snow on the glass top of my garden table.  This table works for me like an important piece of equipment to display  weather condition around. In summer time, glass top of this steel table  keeps glittering, under the sunshine, looks great, gives me a green signal  to go  for my walk.   In Fall season, the trees around shower all the beautiful col

It is Sunday bright beautiful sunny morning with 2 C. Saturday was very  busy day for me. Friday night I din't sleep well, so I woke up bit  late at  9.30  in the morning. Saturday my eldest grandson was leaving. His  parents were  driving him to London Ontario for his Uni. London is about three hours drive. Two hours from Toronto downtown.  I already had my plans for Saturday. I always do that beforehand, I mean  a day before. It is just in my head but it works like written rather a print.  Most of the times I try to follow that strictly. I have to do two loads of my laundry, make banana shake and Veggie  omelette for  my family. I wanted that as it was house full, my eldest one  was also there  and it was his last day here with me. Master Golden, my middle grandson and the youngest one, the Slurpee Boy  were busy playing video games till late night, enjoying their weekend. They  were awake too. It was after lunch time so I offered them to make chick

It is Tuesday sunny bright beautiful morning with 7 C. I don't go to my  work  on Tuesdays. No Darts, no Bowling today in my library. This is the  day  for my calls and to go for my walk. In the morning after breakfast I use to spend time with my computer to  go  through the Facebook messages to connect with my family and friends. Not many messages there. Two of my daughters are on Facebook, while the  other  two  make calls. At our age, not many friends left, if we have couple of, we are lucky. I have two friends from my childhood period. One who lives in Sydney,  writes to me every day. The other one lives in London, England, is having  problem with her eyes and also suffering from acute Arthritis, so computer is off limit for her. Same problems with two of my sisters. One living in Ilford, England, is  going  through having injections in her eyes. May God help her out. Amen.  My youngest sister in Chicago, is in a bad shape.  Her big house is

It is Thursday cloudy morning with 7 C. It is raining since yesterday, will  continue the whole day so my walk is on hold. I have to make some other  plans to get busy to pass my time. I am off today. I don't work on Thursdays. It is 10.30 my daughters from Grimsby and from Reading, England called  me.  It is good to be connected. I am with my computer going through my  Facebook messages.  My childhood grade seven friend lives in Sydney, visiting her family back  home. She writes messages every day. We share our memories and also  our day to day matters. We feel great, when we are confident that someone  listening.  Listening is sharing, a mutual process of spiritual therapy. It gives inner  peace.  When we talk and have confidence that the other person is listening,  we feel,  we are not alone. Someone can understand the way we are looking  the world around.  Listening is a two way process. First we have to build up relationship with  the  pe
