I am not working today. I have to make couple of calls. I don't consider talking to my daughters as my calls. We talk every day, same with my younger brother. I have to call my late husband's sister, she lives back home. I will also call my husband's sister in law. She is visiting her daughter so nowadays is in Sudbury, 5 hours away from Toronto. I will call my sister in law, we talk twice a week.  I talk to my younger brother every day, we had great time on Tuesday. I didn't take 3 buses, I opted for Go bus. I walked to Kingston Road to get the Go bus. It is 10 minutes walk.  Go bus is inter city service, within 15

To All My Dear Readers Open fish can  by pressing the lid drain out water from can. Drop the fish content in a bowl. It may be any fish salmon or tuna chunks or flakes. Spices  :  Black pepper powder red chili powder pinch of salt  few drops of lemon juice Take potato wash cut into pieces and microwave for 5 minutes peel the skin off Mash the potatoes with spoon or hand mix with fish and spices add chopped onion chopped tomatoes not the juicy ones drain out the juice  otherwise patties will be soggy Mix everything and make patties of any size and shape Take frying pan put few drops of cooking oil put patties in hot oil leave for few minutes press with flat spoon it will give color and make it crunchy flip and leave for few minutes press again with spoon so both sides done. Has to be golden when done. It will be very tasty. You can have it with rice with any bread of your choice make sandwiches or take as it is like snacks.

It is Saturday ice storm warning not only storm there is so much on the way on the weather channel, for us in Toronto. Ice pellets, freezing rain plus lots of rain with gusts 50 km.  I am living here for such a long time, still get confused with how many  types of snow we get here. Ice pellets, hails, freezing rain, flurries,  snow flakes, light snow and snow storm.We get all types of  snow here, may be I am missing some. Yesterday we were invited for dinner at my friend's place. Today also we have to go for dinner at another friend's place but with this weather I am not sure. To All My Readers Potato is like a neutral medium can go with any vegetable. If you have potatoes in your kitchen you have nothing to worry about. Even at the last minute you can mix and match with anything to get a tasty dish to put on your dinner table. I always have onions  --- Fresh Garlic -- Fresh Ginger fresh tomatoes beside salt -- red chili powder -- whole black pepper and cumin seeds. I love to use Turmeric powder, it is therapeutic and being bright yellow in color gives color to the finished product. When I enter my kitchen, I make sure there has to be no pressure what to cook and how to cook. It clicks my mind and I start cooking that dish with whatever available that time. Today I made potatoes with peas for Dinner. Take any pot put some cooking oil and put it on stove with medium flame.  Add chopped onion, cover the pot leave for couple of minutes stir once a while let the onion be light golden. To All My Dear Readers Open the Chick Peas can wash thoroughly to drain out all the preservatives. Take a pot put some cooking oil  add chopped onion and put the pot on stove switch the flame to full, cover the pot  just after few minutes stir the content and lower the flame to medium Add some sliced fresh ginger chopped garlic and Chopped fresh tomatoes Leave the pot on stove for 5 minutes Now add chick peas in the pot  Flame still medium  add pinch of salt --  pinch of Turmeric powder red chili powder and cumin seeds Add some water just to make curry Leave the pot on the stove after 5 minutes  stir  once a while Add fresh mint leaves  leave for 5 more minutes It is ready now You can have it with any bread of your choice rice or as it is like snacks Chick Peas are great source of Zinc, which helps to control Mood Swing and Depression.
