It is Monday but looks like weekend weather is harsh for couple
of days even for we Canadians. First it was lots of snow, windy
gusts 120 km, after that started raining.
Now roads and driveways are like skating rink. Wind still 60 km,
power off at so many places. This is end of April yes My Dear
I know that but it is Canada.
We got ready candles and charged cell phones for emergency, as
power was flickering last night. Power is on but now basement is
flooded. This is common problem here after heavy rains.
Schools closed for safety reasons. Offices not closed but not many
were able to go. Lots of accidents as trees are down because of
powerful wind. I use to work part time on Mondays but not today.
Everybody home at my place, it is like Full House today. My son
working from home so busy with his phone and computer. I am
with my computer.
I made stir fried bread and spicy yogurt for my son and my Youngest.
On weekends I make something for their lunch, they love it. We enjoy
together. Yesterday I baked cake for my Grand kids.
It is 2 pm, I am writing my Blog, thinking about my Friend doing
2 Jobs. My dear I think you have to choose one,whom you are going
to listen. I mean whatever I say, your Job worker 2 Friend always
contradicts that.
Job worker 2 friend of yours always say opposite to what I say to you.
You get confused between we two people. Now it is your own choice,
your own decision. If you go with her, I mean want to listen to her,
it is OK with me.
My Retirees Friends you want me to write for joint family living.
I am in the same boat, My Dear it is very complex situation.
I will write about that soon.
It is 5.30 pm I am going to get groceries with my son and
Master Golden. I enjoy that, moving around getting things
of my own choice for myself and also for my family.

I finish work early today at 3 but bakery no open till 4 so I wait in office and read blog. When I go there I wait 25 min but there no fresh donut, so I only get box donut. Box donut fresh. I wait 20 min for that. I sorry but I get tire after wait 45 min.

ReplyDeleteThe retirees appreciate your blog today. The retirees were very concerned after readying you blog today. Some retirees were seen wiping their tears. The retirees canceled all the business today to pass a resolution. We were concerned at your comment when you mentioned that you dont want to write about the joint family situation because you are also suffering and in the same boat. We have asked the experts such as the human behaviour consultant, the family coucillors as well as psychologists to get together and help address your situation. Please note that this include both retired as well as active members of the profession. We hope to be able to come up with some ideas. The new retirees asked us to request your son to be more effective in dealing with the situation but the more senior retirees scoffed at the idea.

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. The Dean has restarted the practice of inviting various faculties to the blog readings. Today, the faculty of psychology came for the reading . They have been here before and they were very appreciative of the opportunity to come for the reading. Prof George also confided to us that the Dean and him are working on some additional plans. We asked him about the plans but he said "I cant tell you the details but here is a hint, Lucy will be happy with it". We are looking forward to the plans and are missing Smile Army volunterers

I apologize for being missing in action for a few days. I have been doing some travelling to our global locations and talking to our staff. I have been trying to keep your sagacious guidance of keeping the speeches short and to the point. I didnt realize how much useful this advice is until I looked at the post-event surveys that we do. My rating improved by 127%. I thought that I used to be a maestro in public speaking but boy how wrong I was. Thank you for your guidance.
