Thought Of The Day

  After a couple of days break it started raining late at night. It will be raining all day.  Not a heavy rain, just a drizzle. With my glasses on I have to take an umbrella. It is better to avoid my glasses being foggy. I believe that rain or shine we have to go for making our day. No matter what. Sometimes the weather is not in our favor. Other times our health is not in good shape. Sometimes we are not in a mood to get out. I believe that mood is the key to managing our lifestyle. Our mood controls our attitude. It changes the perspective to look at life. We have to try to elevate our mood in whatever conditions are around. Sometimes we don't have the right type of people. I mean the people around are not at the same wavelength. We don't enjoy being with their company. We don't have the conditions of our choice all the time.    We were just out of snow and now it's raining. We know that it is Canada. We need a break.  It is Saturday. Things are a bit quiet. People are dozing off or starting their day late enjoying taking their time at home. It is 9.30 in the morning, everyone is sleeping. Maybe they were awake till late night to enjoy the weekend. My son is awake and busy watching his program. TV is on, his laptop is also on. He is busy with that too. I think he is done with his breakfast now enjoying his day time. I am also done with my breakfast with my oatmeal porridge. I don't drink my morning tea / coffee. On the days I am working I use to have tea / coffee with my friends at the library with my senior club friends. The days I am off from work I mean not going to play Darts at the library, I walk to the coffee house to have coffee there to enjoy my time on my own. We have to chalk out our day plans on our own.   It's a beautiful morning.The weather is great. It is 12 C, not below zero anymore.  It is time to walk around and enjoy the scenic atmosphere. The trees are no longer skeletons. I can see a tinge of green running through their bodies. It is spring. The time of revival of life. Time to hit the roads, trails and waters. The season of winter is over. Enough of staying indoors. It is time to get out. My back garden is back to life. The grass is lush green. My friend the Black Squirrel is back to do his exercises on the wooden fence of my garden. I see a couple of birds walking under the Magnolia tree in my front garden. The red wooden bench is shining under the sun. The sun is in full bloom showering his light all around to make our days brighter. It is 11.15, I checked my table calendar. I have to wash my hair. I don't wash my hair every day.   It's Thursday the 21st of April. I am back in Toronto after winding up my two weeks trip to England.  Home is home no doubt about that. I am all set. Back to my job at the library to play Darts. The weather is great, still a bit on the cold side. It is just a single digit below zero.  Like summer for us in Canada. The grass is lush green in my back garden. I see some life signals too in the flower bed at the back of my garden. The same in my front garden. The Magnolia tree is about to start budding.  It will soon be all loaded with light yellow beautiful flowers with a pinkish hue inside. I believe it is always the first one to announce that spring is here. Get ready to celebrate. It is early morning, and I am done with my breakfast. Everyone left to work in person. My grandson, the middle one, is busy working from home in her room. I am off today, so I don't have to go to the library. I take the library as my work place. I am sitting sort of in an empty nest.   It is the 17th of April,10 in the morning. I am at Camberley. I came last night from Kent.  Three of my daughters are scattered in various parts of England. I am shunting between Grimsby, Kent and Camberley. I am now at Camberley on the last leg of my trip to England. Camberley is my youngest daughter's place. It is a beautiful small town in Surrey, England. She moved here from Reading a couple of months ago. My flight to Toronto is tomorrow at noon. I have to leave early in the morning from her place to Heathrow Airport. That will be the end of my two week trip to England from 3rd to 18th April. Today is the last day of my trip. My daughter has chalked out a full day of outdoor plans. My eldest daughter from Edmonton is also here. We three are on the way to Windsor Castle. We enjoyed walking around the Castle.   Life looks beautiful, I think when your loved ones are around. You start feeling lucky. No complaints. Things all look perfect. I am at Grimsby train station. Train to Doncaster just arrived. People getting down some are trying to get in the train. Doncaster is one hour away from Grimsby. People from there can get direct train to London. I am enjoying the buzzing atmosphere at the station. Another train is about to come for Cleethorpes. Cleethorpes is a tourist spot seaside area. It is just 20 minutes drive from my daughter's place in Grimsby. I am now at Freshney shopping mall. It is 10 minutes walk from the station. I will go to Costa to enjoy my coffee over there and to walk around. My grandson dropped me at the station. left for Gym. He will be picking me up after around two hours. I will keep track of the time and the pick up point too. I am at Costa now, enjoining my coffee and the festive atmosphere. I will take a quick round of the mall. I love to go to the charity shops....

    Time flies fast, that changes everything. The weather, the nature and the scenic view. We have to keep track of the things around to enjoy our moments. I think it is a small world nowadays. I was in Toronto on Tuesday night and just after a couple of hours I landed at London Heathrow airport.  The weather here is a bit cold. I have to wear my winter coat. not the heavy one. I will be in England for two weeks. I am here to attend my granddaughter's wedding. My entire family is here. All of my four daughters and my son are here with families. Amazing. Such a life time moment to cherish and to lock up in my memory box to have a feel of and to enjoy later on. Lucky me to move around at my age. I am  so grateful to Almighty to keep looking after me and keeping me mobile.  I don't deserve all that. It is all of His Blessings. He is so kind to all of His Creatures big and small.
