Thought Of The Day

  It is a hot morning with 41 C, it will be 43 degrees later on. Every season is intense here in Canada.  All four seasons come in full bloom with full intensity. We can have a feel of every season and enjoy the flavors of each. It was just a couple of weeks ago I had to use a jacket and gloves for my walk. It is totally a different scenario now. Tough to select what to wear in this temperature. One of my grade five school friends just called. She used to live in London downtown, Regent street. I have great memories of staying at her place for a couple of nights. We used to go for our day out plans.   Museums, gardens, restaurants, Que Gardens, together we visited in our good old days. Things change. She moved to her daughter in the Netherlands, visiting her brother here in Canada. She is leaving tomorrow, so she called me.   Beautiful morning, great weather. It is 11.30, 20 C, perfect to go for a walk. Not too cold, not too hot.  Flowers of all colors are in full bloom. The grass is lush green. There is so much green all around. It's time to cherish your moments.Time to enjoy the outdoors. Summer season is not long here in Canada. We value each and every moment we can avail in these couple of months, June is nearly done, we have only July, and from mid August things will start changing. It reminds me of England. My daughters from there are talking about the weather over there. It is too hot. It's not easy to be without fans. We feel lucky to enjoy this cozy weather in the month of June. My garden is back to life. The pink Canadian roses plant is loaded with flowers all around.    It is a beautiful morning after a couple of hot days. It is cloudy, still not gloomy. Hazy with overcast not dark at all.  We don't have to turn on the lights. We are enjoying the drizzle, the view. Scenic to behold. The red, gold, purple, white flowers all look happy taking their morning shower. The pink Canadian roses are enjoying the most. They are dancing, shaking their bodies with a big smile. It is Sunday, 11.30 am. I already planned my day. I will walk to the coffee house with my tablet to write my blogs. I will take calls too over there. I usually stay there for a couple of hours. It is good to be with your own company for a while. It works like a meditation. We need some time alone for our own selves. No interruption. No outsider has to be there. Sometimes we need to talk alone with ourselves. Listen to our inner thoughts. It helps to get peace inside deep down. We don't have time for that so often. There has to be a time slot planned in our day schedule. Not ...

  Spring is the time of revival.Time for things coming back to life. The trees around are no more like skeletons anymore.  They are loaded with greens. The gardens are also lush green. No more brown patches in between. Squirrels are playing hide and seek in gardens. Running up and down on trees to enjoy their time. Birds are! on tree tops calling each other I think to join the party out. The small brown rabbit just came enjoying his feast in my back garden. He loves grass. Sometimes he enjoys some of my flowers too. It is a hot day, 11.15 in the morning 29C. I am getting ready for my walk. The summer time is different. Easy to dress up. No more getting ready with layers, heavy coats, gloves and woolen stole. I have a couple of light tops to wear on summer days. It is just a few more weeks. Things will start changing from mid August.    It's a hot humid morning, predicting 37 C later on. It is 11.30, started drizzling. I am in my backyard.  The flowers, red, purple, gold and white are giving my back garden a beautiful look. Scenic and eye-catching view. My son used to be busy with his wife in the evenings working in the garden. People know that they have just a couple of weeks to enjoy the outdoors. We don't have much time to do things in our garden in Canada. We have all four seasons in Canada, but our winter is a bit longer here. We try to enjoy making adjustments. Spring time will be gone and there will be Fall after. We wait for that too to enjoy the colors. The trees look great with all shades of green, yellow. bright red, orange and copper.   It's a beautiful morning. Some mornings come with surprises. Like  Christmas. You never know which part of your body is going to give you a hard time. Not going to listen to you to cooperate. To get along with your plans for the day ahead. The same is with some of the nights. Our body is not like a robot. We go through hard times with our nights too sometimes. The nights we are not sleeping well. We will not be able to get up with the same energy to focus on to enjoy our mornings. Mornings are the face of our day. Spoiling our morning means that we are done with our day. Nights are the key to control our days. We have to take measures to manage our sleep time. At the later stages of our life they start giving us problems. So many issues start coming up as our body starts getting weaker. It becomes hard to handle things. It's a beautiful day, breezy morning. Perfect weather to go for a walk. The trees are loaded with green.  The gardens are back to life with beautiful flowers of all colors. The grass is lush green with no brown patches in between. The blood red David Austin is still on break. I can't see any flowers. The same is with the pink Canadian roses. Everyone is different. The same is with plants. They behave and react to the atmosphere taking their own time. The small brown rabbit is sitting quietly at the right by the flower bed. A couple of brown birds with yellow patches on their belly are enjoying their morning walk under the Maple tree. The white Butterfly is whispering to the purple flowers. My son planted a white planter on the weekend with his wife. This is all so peaceful and scenic to behold. To cherish and enjoy a sort of meditation.   I am sitting inside the Second Cup Cafe. It's a bit of a festive atmosphere. Not happens here all the time.  It is not like Tim Hortons where you see people coming and going all the time. The Second Cup is a bit quiet with a different sort of clientele. I used to come here anytime after 11.30.  I keep my mornings for my chores. Some kitchen work, making some calls and to plan out my day plans. The weather has now changed. It is 20 C, breezy. The flower bed in my back garden is back to life. Pink, gold, white and blood red flowers adding up the beauty of the scenic atmosphere. It is the time of the year when you feel cold under shades. Feel hot under the sun.
