Thought Of The Day

It is Sunday beautiful bright sunny morning. This is beauty of Canada, no matter how cold is the temperature, day always looks bright and  beautiful. I think weather keeps playing tricks to keep us distracted. Day before I was sitting in my room with my computer on, looked through  the window. I started thinking, what I am doing sitting here, instead of  walking outside. I checked the weather, it was 18 C below zero.   Anyway, nowadays my sleep is not good. It happens my dear. At my age,  we  start getting such experiences. No surprises in that. We have to sort  these  things on our own, not have to disturb the people around. Old age is just like any other stage of cycle of life. We can call it Golden Era  of our life.  We have no time pressure, no work pressure. It is  Friday  bright  beautiful  sunny  morning with 4 C below zero. Not  so  cold  for we Canadians. Last night I didn't sleep well  so woke up late after  9 am, had my breakfast and  got ready  to leave at  9.30 for my work place  to play Darts.  It was not enough time but I managed somehow.  I think when there is will there  is al ways a way to do things, to accomplish.  Tomorrow my  eldest grandson is leaving to London,  to his Uni.  Today is  his last day here.  I skipped my Bowling  to spend some time with him.  It is 12.30, I am home.  I believe family always comes first. No question in  that. It is 1 pm, I am  busy  making banana shakes and veggie omelette for  my grandson  and  for  my son, to make them happy.  I made banana shake for myself too. It is Sunday beautiful bright sunny morning with 2 C, not below zero,  enough  to celebrate for we Canadians. My eldest grandson is here from  London  Ontario. He has one week off from his Uni. I am planning to  make  pancakes  for him, his favorite. I am done with my laundry. I did that yesterday. It is 9.15, I am done  with my breakfast, now enjoying my time in the TV lounge with my son.  Everyone else sleeping. News channel is on. I am not much interested  in that. I am enjoying the scenic view of my back garden. Sun is there to give a  glitter  to the snow around. Black Squirrel is always there for me to make  my day. He is  busy with his workouts on the wooden fence, his favorite Gym. I miss my friend, the White Butterfly. She must be visiting her family  and friends at South of the Border. My youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy  just awake. I am going to my kitchen to make pancakes for him, for my  eldest one and for others.  They all like to have

It is Saturday bright beautiful sunny morning, very cold, feels like 20 C below zero. It is 8.30, I just put my laundry in the washer. Now  making my breakfast, oatmeal cereal and stir fried egg.  By the time  I will be done with my breakfast, my clothes will be ready to  put into  dryer. It is small load so wont take long.  It is 9.15, I am enjoying  my cup of tea. My clothes are in the dryer.  I am  sitting  in the TV lounge,  to spend time with my son.  He is early  riser,  everyone else is sleeping.  TV is on, my son is watching  Toronto Maple Leaf and Toronto Raptors  games  highlights on Sports  Channel. I don't watch the entire game,  still  enjoying  the highlights.  I have my Sudoku and Scrabble books with me,  to get busy. It is Saturday bright beautiful sunny cold morning with 2 C below zero. I have to do laundry, today have to wash and change my bed sheets,wash  my clothes,  my jacket and gloves.Washer Dryer, is in the basement,  couple of stairs down from my  bed room, so will be enough exercise   to  do three loads of laundry. I start doing my laundry before having breakfast. I keep in mind that  it  has to be done before everyone awake, so to keep washer, dryer free  for them. They might have to do their own stuff. Living with family is tricky for everyone. We seniors have to be more  considerate and not to disturb other people's working plans. Being eldest,  we have more responsibility.  We have to try, not to disturb the family life of our children.  It is their time.  They come first whenever we have to pick and choose our time frame,  our  plans,  or any such things.
