We dream the Dreams, and dream of fulfilling it. It is the dream that makes a person. It is never too late to dream, to learn or to change. If you really believe in something, you will persist. Persistence will take you  to the road to success. Fear of Falling, fear of failing, is a heavy burden to carry. Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The things that count most in life, are the things that can not be counted.

Happiness is the one, we only tumble upon them by chance, in a lucky hour, somewhere, and hold fast, as fortune. We spend  most of  the hours of most of our days constructing tomorrows, that we hope will make us happy. People wait all week for Friday, all year for summer, all life for Happiness. Try to indulge in the present moments and make best use of that. Writing a book is it's own rewards, but reading a book is a commitment of time and money that ought to pay clear dividends. Don't take your life too seriously and have at least ten minutes to live. You can't stop the calendar or turn back the clock, but you can still dream. Set positive goals, and use your unique abilities. A person is no greater than his or her dreams, ideals, hopes and plans.

The  real challenge for the whole immigrant community is that how to raise their future generation. Kids should be a model of their own culture and traditions, or parents can compromise and give some liberties to their kids. Parents agree on one point, that they should be more flexible, specially girls should not be in that tight compartment as used to be back home, they should be out of their cages. Parents are still very confused. They don't mind their kids going on the streets for Tick or Treat in Halloween, but when kids want to go to Christmas parties to their friend place, it becomes a burning hot problem. They don't want their kids mingling with  the children of other cultures, specially in parties. As long as their kids religion and belief is safe, it seems OK with every parent. We don't deserve anything, we are granted.  All this is our non payable grant Like a scholarship, which we didn't earn This all is just because of God showering Blessings Our Thank you Note to God will remind us for all this Keeping us humble, on track throughout our day This will help us being polite and to show some sort of kindness to others It will shift our focus from me We will try to do something for others, to be helpful  In turn it will bring lasting happiness and inner peace to us Thank you Note to God is a great bargain You have nothing to lose, trust me Please give it a try

Ambition fueled by compassion, wisdom and integrity, is a powerful force. To do something, however small, to make others happier and better is the highest ambition. The biggest factor, influencing your personality is, the smile on your face, followed closely by your attitude and sense of humor. pleasant, cheerful and optimistic people are easier to be liked than the negative individuals. Arranged Marriages                 in southeast Asia To me,marriages in the Developing countries, was a very sound system, the couple living for their whole life together, divorces are rare, family united, all positive. Bingo. Just after a couple of years of my migration to Canada, I am confused. I can not say much about that system, which I so much believed in, to me it is a story of total sacrifice from the girl's side only. In the developing countries, to be a boy is lucky. Lucky for the boy and  also for the family Nowadays even in big cities, it is considered  good if girls are engaged in their teens and it is better if girls are married around their twenties As soon as their age bar crosses the figure of twenty, their parents got more and more upset so as a gesture of goodwill the whole community gets involved to fix up the situation They do whatever they can to handle the situation, because now the time is considered to be ripe to transfer the girl in the groom house, so the groom be searched, and someone succeeds The only requirement is that, who can take care of her life from now onward  She has to live there till her death Divorces are very uncommon in developing countries Boys are not a problem at all,  as their parents don't have to worry about their age limit, they don't have to leave their homes, as their partner will be added right there Living in Canada this

Two of the  greatest barriers to happiness are fear and anxiety Happiness brings joy, a feeling of unshakable fulfillment and inner peace Keep in mind, smile is the universal language. Everyone understands and gets a very clear message of happiness from that. It is a question to be solved by many, " could a person be happy for no reason". Real happiness comes from the twinkle in the eyes of the person, you don't share the language.

As we grow old, messages from mind are not so life supporting. Marks of stress and age begins to prevail on our body. Keep an eye on that. Be positive so that you can control your mind. Control your body, do some exercise and watch your diet. Keep a balance in mind and body Focus on daily routine

I am flipping  my past years pages from my memory journal. Two years back, before my Mother's death, I used to go back home religously to see my Mom, who used to live with my brother. My brother's driver Faiz always stays in my mind. Faiz was an employee, my brother used to pay him monthly fixed amount for his duties,but he was not  like a worker to my brother,  Faiz was like younger brother to him. Faiz always called me Apa as my brother used to call me that, he was ready to do anything for anyone. He, easily could have got any other job, but he was so loyal to us may be because of our treatment or may be, we were part of family for him too. Faiz was like Jeeves of P. G. Wodehouse . Our family is scattered all around the world because of our  jobs and also due to migration after marriage, but everybody knows him very well. Visiting back home, the first person standing with my brother to greet us was always Faiz. Some people are like a lamp post showering light

Try to understand your body specific strengths and weaknesses, it will help you to keep your body in tune Know who you are, seeds of disease are sown early Don't be too hard for situations You don't have to run marathons, in fact moderation may make all the difference Demanding workouts and hectic schedules may negate the benefits 

You can not step into the same river twice as fresh waters are ever flowing in Same is true for our body, it is changing every moment, every day Know your body, try to understand to live in tune with nature To live easily, comfortable and without strain Respect your uniqueness and try to equate it with nature knowing your body type is key, while choosing your diet and physical activities

Walking keeps you one step ahead of stress If you want to be great, serve the people Every problem carries the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit To change your friends, family and lifestyle, you must first change yourself Learn to manage yourself Remember, moving your body helps mending your mood

Half a century back in my school days I used to read one short story every year just because the name of the story was " The Last Night of New year " I used to read that story religiously every year on 31st December with my  friend, she used to live in my area couple of streets away.We used to celebrate Every New Year  by reading that story together. We could not think of any luxuries in our lives. New Year Celebrations were beyond our imaginations. Being a family of six children with only my Dad as sole bread earner, we could not afford to be demanding. We learned the unique technique to find happiness. I am still grateful for that. I think that was a gift from God for us. It was only God, who taught us how to be happy within our means with no regrets. I transferred that technique to my Son and my Four Daughters.
