Life is an exciting business and most exciting when it is lived for others.

Try to live by the principle that each of us should do all the good we can in all the ways in all the places we can for all the people we can and while we can.

Believe that " Service is the price we pay for the space we occupy on this planet." .

Genius produces great ideas and concepts, hard work produces the results.

Try to be a risk taker and not a gambler.

Sometimes it is only one incident, which can change us for ever.

Try to be compassionate to others, God will be compassionate to you in turn.

Self satisfaction is a great reward, we give to ourselves.

Run your day by the clock and your life with a vision, good things will happen in your life.

Take advantage of every opportunity, it will help you prepare for the challenges in your life.

Between the ages of twelve and seventeen of your children, a parent can age thirty years, so don't take much pressure.

Great things are accomplished by slow  movement, but nothing is accomplished by standing still.

Go ahead, have a good laugh, share it with others.

    "your life is a gift from Allah, what you do for others is a gift to Allah". we have been given so much blessings from Allah, a small act of kindness is the least we can do in return. We don't have to go too far to help some one, we should first look at our behaviour with the people around us, either at work or at home, are they pleased to see us? Are we helpful and kind to them or are we too demanding and too stressful for them? Remember this time will never come back so don't waste the opportunity of doing good.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
