Thought Of The Day

  January 31st 2023 It is a cold morning with 16 C below Zero, feels like 21 below. It will be colder day by day. Friday showing 27 C below zero, feels like 35 below. It will match with the temperature at Edmonton, at my daughter's place. I have to go to Edmonton on 19th, don't know what will be there, waiting for me. I was never there in February. Let's see.  Snow is everywhere, here in Toronto too. My red garden chair, in my back garden, is full of the white stuff. Glass top of my garden table, is loaded with  thick slab of ice. My deck is covered under thick white blanket.  It is just, matter of couple of weeks. Things will change. March will be, with total different scenario.  Every season is unique, with it's own beauty.   January 27th 2023 Weather is like a roller coaster. Two days back Skeleton trees were out of the icing and white flowers. Grass of my garden, was all green with just couple of the white stuff patches. Now lots of snow is all around. Trees are loaded with thick icing and white cottony flowers. Grass is covered under thick white sheet. Black Lexus, Red Buick and white Infinity, all are loaded with snow. looking great, with thick white sheet on their top. My driveway is also covered under white blanket. So much work to do, for my son. He is busy with shovel, trying to clear off, whatever he can. It is Friday, I have to go to work. Kids are about to leave for work and school.  It is 8.30, I am in my room, getting ready to go. I am checking my closet, to pick my top. There are many tops, in hanger. The one, with Grey and light Pink, small flowers, I picked for today. This is the gift from my daughter, the middle one. She bought it for me, at Louth.  Louth is about an hour away from Grimsb

   January 24th 2023 New year is not new any more. It is about a month old. Time flies, so is life. Days pass so quickly. Present is changing into past, in no time. Couple of days back, there was snow all around. Not any more. Weather is a bit mild so most of the snow is slipping away. I see grass underneath, out of the white sheet. Icing of skeleton trees, is gone. No more white cottony flowers. Snow is still around, not much.  It is 11.25, 2 C, feeling like 5 C below zero. I am done with my breakfast. Done with my hair color. My bedsheets and towels, load is in washer. I did one load of my laundry yesterday. It is good to break up your workings, always become easy to handle. We all have twenty four hours at our credit. Have to manage things around, to ease out our work load and our pressure. At our age, we have to sort out things beforehand.  One thing at a time. Not much pressure to handle. Try to manage, to do things, keeping track of your health and safety. Sometimes, we can not d

  January 20th 2023 Beautiful weather. Rain was in the morning, just stopped. My Deck is looking great, nice and clean. Grass is green with some light yellow patches in between. It is 8.15, I am in my kitchen, busy making my breakfast. Have to go to work today at 9.30. I co-ordinate my timings with my son's schedule. Not nice to disturb his meetings and work. I know, he is doing his best to make my day. We don't have to push our kids. They are already busy with work and family of their own. We have to understand that. They are our kids and will always be. No matter what. Blood is blood. Have confidence. Trust your kids. We have to admire and appreciate for whatever they can do for we parents.  Please try to avoid making complaints. No one likes whining. It is a very negative behavior. It imparts negativity all around. People start avoiding our company. Start keeping distance. We start losing our loved ones. No one likes to be part of any pessimistic atmosphere. Not their fault.

   January 17th 2023 It is cloudy foggy morning. Weather is not so cold, 4C below zero. It is 8.15, I am going downstairs to my kitchen, to make my breakfast. Everyone gone to work and school. My son is busy with his computer, working online. It is Tuesday, I am not working today. I missed on Friday too due to my Dentist appointment.  Before having breakfast,  I use to take a tea spoon of honey in half a cup of warm water. Now making oatmeal porridge, stir fry egg, to have with a sip of orange juice and my morning cup of tea. We have to start our day with a very positive attitude. I have to check my table calendar for my things to do list. Yesterday was very busy for me. I did four loads of laundry. I washed my comforter, my light Blanket, Bedsheets and towels and my daily clothing. I had Doctor's appointment too, for my leg pain. I like my doctor. He doesn't prescribe medicines. I think he knows that, I don't like to take medicines. He told me to continue Calcium and Vitam

  January 13th 2023 It is 6.30 in the morning. I am awake, not out of my bed yet. It is a total changed atmosphere outside. Snow all around. Yesterday was rain, now this. Skeleton trees are looking beautiful with silver linings and white cottony flowers. Bushes around,  dusted with white powder,  are looking great .  Black Lexus and Red Morrison, on my Driveway, are covered under white blanket.  The lush green grass on my front garden is nicely covered with white sheet. Red wooden bench on the left of the garden, is partly under snow. This is all so beautiful, so scenic. Like a piece of virgin land. Untouched beauty. Amazing. Every season is unique with it's own beauty. No doubt in that.  God is Great, keeps on showering His blessings, all year round, on all of His creatures, Big and Small. Just a "Thank You", is not enough. We can't pay Him back. Never ever. I think, spreading happiness and putting smile on the faces of His creatures, around, will make Him happy. I w

  January 10th 2023 It is a mixed cloudy sunny morning, 2 C below zero. Not so cold. We take it like good weather, here in Toronto. No rain, no snow. Looks like calm quiet atmosphere. Today is Garbage pick up day, in our neighborhood. All Blue Green and Grey bins, are lined up on driveways, outside. Grey one is for garbage, which is to be picked up, on alternate weeks, while other bins, picked up every Tuesday. Blue ones, are for paper and glass. Green bin is for Kitchen stuff.  I was working yesterday, usually I don't go to work, to play Darts on Mondays. My daughter in law has to go to work in person, on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we don't have car at home. It doesn't look nice to call my friend, for ride so I skip on Mondays. She knows about the car issue, she messaged me to have a ride. So nice of her. Yesterday I booked my flight for Edmonton. It is by the end of next month.  My back is much better, thanks to my heating pad. Now my right leg is giving me hard time. At ou

  It was raining for couple of days, stopped early morning. Sun is out, to make our day brighter. Beautiful morning. Sky is clear Blue with milky white spaces. It looks like a water color masterpiece. Thanks to rain, grass is lush green. Red wooden bench is shining, washed, nice and clean. Skeleton trees look settled for a while, not shaky anymore. I think, for now, they are not worried about the days ahead. Weather will be unpredictable from now on, till February. Snow be any time soon. We know that. For now, enjoying, whatever is there. Not good to spoil  moments in hand. We have to make our day with what is available. My back still the same. Nothing to complain about. What you expect with more than three quarter of a century old machinery. I am using heating pad and hand massager. It is helping me out, to some extent. In the morning, I was at work, to play Darts. January 03, 2023 We are in New Year, things still, look same to me. I think just calendar is changed. Day is same bright and beautiful. Sun is not fully awake. This is start of January, we can have snow any time soon. It was already there couple of days back. I think, taking a break. Skeleton trees are shaky, they expect anything can happen. Summer is not around the corner. Grass is green, not many brown patches, in between. Thanks to the rain for the last couple of days. Weather is great. Not so cold, 2 C. It is like summer for we Canadians. It is Tuesday, Yellow and brown Garbage truck is outside, picking bins to empty out. So nice of front line workers, to streamline our day to day working.
