Thought Of The Day

  It has been raining since last night. Flowers look happy. Trees around are looking great after having their morning shower.  My deck is all clean, washed. The two white planters by the right side of the deck are full with flowers. White, blood red, deep purple and golden flowers all are giving color to my garden. Like cherry on top. Beautiful moments to cherish. It is 10 in the morning. I am done with my breakfast. I am now enjoying my time in my back garden to have a feel of the scented breeze. The air is so fresh, loaded with all sorts of aroma from around. The brown small rabbit is busy having his breakfast at my left side. Two birds are walking around having  chit chat too. Two black Squirrels are playing hide and seek on the Maple tree. I feel lucky to be a part of all this to behold and to cherish these beautiful moments. Mornings are the face of our days.   Beautiful morning. Great scenic atmosphere. Pink Canadian roses are smiling. The grass is lush green.  A couple of birds are having a party in my backyard. Two squirrels are playing hide and seek under the Maple tree. The small brown rabbit is sitting quietly on the left side. I think he is enjoying his own company and is here to behold the scenery too. It is early morning 8.30, I am sitting on one of the red knitted steel garden chairs. I am having my breakfast on the deck, like to be a part of all these beautiful moments to cherish. The sky is like a clean slate. An untouched canvas with a couple of grayish abstract sketches. The entire atmosphere is so peaceful, we can sit quietly here to meditate. The atmosphere is loaded with the fragrance of flowers. My flower bed at the back is looking beautiful with golden yellow, blood red, white and purple seasonal flowers. The red garden chair my son got from the Canadian Tire store years ago is at the corner to lie down to relax....

  It is a beautiful bright morning. Hot and sunny. The weather is like a roller coaster nowadays.  Yesterday it was on a cooler side. Today it is a different scenario. Hot feeling like 28 C. It is a matter of a couple of weeks. It will change by the middle of August. I have a busy day today.  My friends invited me for a get together. I have to go for that around 1.30. I decided to go for my walk before that. It is 10.15, I  am sitting in the Coffee House, enjoying my coffee and my time alone. I try to avail my time alone whenever I can. For me, a time alone slot is the key to get inner peace. To manage our patience, our blood pressure and mood swings. We have to include what we like to do while making our day schedules. Everyone is different with his own personality. It is a must to have a time slot for the hobbies we like to get busy with. That will be our own time to enjoy ourselves. It's a very hot day with heat warnings on the weather channel. It looks a bit quiet in my neighborhood.  Very few birds, just a couple, sitting under the Maple tree. The Black Squirrel is also missing. I can't see him. He may be early for his exercises. He takes the wooden fence in my backyard like his gym. The trees around are quiet too, trying to cope with the weather. It is Tuesday, I don't go to work on Tuesdays. I have to chalk out my time table to do other things for the days I am not working. I  have to do my laundry. Change my bed sheets and towels. I have to make some calls. I can do that later. It is 10.15, early morning. I have to get ready for my walk. I can manage now, later on it will be hot. We have to take our health, our caliber to manage and safety while starting anything.   Beautiful morning, great weather. It is 11.30, 20 C, perfect to go for a walk. Not too cold, not too hot.  Flowers of all colors are in full bloom. The grass is lush green. There is so much green all around. It's time to cherish your moments.Time to enjoy the outdoors. Summer season is not long here in Canada. We value each and every moment we can avail in these couple of months, June is nearly done, we have only July, and from mid August things will start changing. It reminds me of England.   The day before it was hot 28 C feeling like 34. Today it is totally a different scenario.  It is a bit cooler with 10 C. The weather is like a roller coaster. It is so confusing one day up the other day down. We keep our fingers crossed to decide what to take out to wear from our coat closet. We have to step out of the door to make sure how it will feel to go for a walk. We have all sorts of coats and jackets lined inside the closet. We are all set to tackle our Canadian winter throughout the year long. I usually go for my walk around after 11.30. It takes about 25 minutes to be there at the Second Cup coffee house. I was with my light jacket. I was back just after a couple of minutes of my walk to change my jacket with a heavier one. We have to be very particular with what to wear before heading out for any journey. It is a long journey, a short trip or just a walk. Doesn't matter, it has to be enjoyable.   It's a cloudy, hazy morning. The sun is not fully awake to brighten our day. I am also a bit late to start my day.  I missed my friend the Black Squirrel. He comes early in the morning for his exercises. A couple of light brown birds with yellow beaks are walking in my back garden. The grass is green.  The red, violet, and gold flowers my son and his wife planted a couple of days ago are giving color to my garden. I can't see the brown rabbit، maybe he is still in bed, starting his day late like me. Some days are not so good or maybe we are not in a good shape to handle things. I believe life is the same for everyone. It is the same at all the stages of our life. It is like a combo with mixed moments. Some sweet, some sour and some are bitter. We have energy to handle, to deal with the things at the earlier stages of our life. Our body is not so strong, our nerves also not the same at the later stages of life.   Some days just look great. No rain, no snow. The sun is in full bloom. What else do we need to make our day? Everything looks perfect. Beautiful flowers on the Magnolia tree are about to bloom. The grass is lush green. The Magnolia tree is loaded with beautiful light pinkish yellow flowers with a pinkish hue inside.  The red wooden bench is shining on the left side of my front garden. The atmosphere is loaded with the fragrances from all around. The scent of the freshly cut grass. The aroma of the flowers. All are mingled to top up the breeze.   Today the snow has taken a break. The sun is shining in full bloom. The snow around is glistening under sunshine.  It's a beautiful scenic atmosphere to behold. Nature is great in all of its exhibits. No question about that. It is late morning, 11.30. I am done with my kitchen chores. Now sitting in my room with my computer switched on. The blinds of my windows are drawn up. Sunlight is making my room bright and cozy. I am busy browsing my Facebook messages. I am also enjoying the view outside through my windows. No birds, no squirrels outside. It looks calm and quiet in my neighborhood. It is Tuesday, garbage pick up day. Blue, green and gray bins are lined up by the driveways. The white Buick  and black Acura are staying in my driveway. All loaded with snow. My outside walks are on hold. My son and grandsons are busy working from home.   It's a totally different scenario in just a couple of days.Things have changed so quickly. I can't see any snow by the roadsides.  The walkway is all clear. No water, not muddy and slushy patches anymore. My outdoor walks are back on track. The grass in my back garden is now out of its thick snowy blanket. The Twin Towers, I mean the two tall trees in my next door neighbor's front garden, are now ready to rent out their appointments. The birds started coming back from the South of the Border. It's a totally different scenario. The winter season is in full bloom. Snow is around.  Trees are loaded with snow. It is 15 C below zero. Icy patches on walkways.  Walks are now becoming not easy. Especially for people of my age. Twin towers, I mean the two tall trees on my next door neighbor's front garden, are calm. No activity inside. All of the apartments are vacant. Birds are gone to South of the Border. I can't see any squirrels too around nowadays. There is not much activity in my neighborhood. Some are gone to enjoy their holidays. Some stayed to party at home. My garden is quiet. The atmosphere is peaceful, calm and quiet. Winter is to enjoy your own company. Your own time. Time for your own self. Time to talk and to listen to your own thoughts. To get inner peace. It's time to acquire meditation. Every season is unique with its own beauty. We humans taste the vintage of all the seasons.   It's a beautiful morning, bright and sunny. I see no flowers and not many birds.  Just a couple of birds some times. Squirrels are walking, busy collecting their food  to store for the coming days. I am enjoying my walk putting everything on. Nowadays we have to wear a couple of layers to dress up.  I am ready to be bundled up in just a couple of weeks, maybe days. You never know when. The weather changes here overnight. There is no rain and no snow for now. We have to celebrate our moments. Not to worry much about the days to come. We have to focus on the moments in hand. Don't have to spoil our present, thinking about what to come later on. We don't have to try to manage our future. Don't know what will be there to handle. Take one moment, one day at a time.   It's a beautiful bright cold morning with 4 C at 10.15. My back garden is loaded with scattered yellow Maple leaves.  Thanks to the tall Maple leaf tree standing gracefully in the back of my garden. Not much activity in my garden. It looks a bit quiet. Just a couple of red, purple and white seasonal flowers are pushing themselves to give color to my garden.  No pink Canadian roses and not any blood red David Austin roses. One black Squirrel wandering on the lush green grass to find his breakfast or maybe looking for his brunch. I can't see any birds in my garden or up in the sky. I think they already left for South of the Border. The red wooden bench in my front garden is looking great. Washed clean and shining under the sun. Thanks to the rain for a couple of days.     October is about to end. Our real cold days are just close by. Nowadays it's a bit cold. Still not much for us Canadians.  It is 6 C not below zero. Fine with us. We have to dress up in layers not have to be bundled up. Squirrels are walking around in the greens to get their food. I also see a couple of birds up in the sky. They may be leaving for South of the Border. I hope they have all the complete documents. Things now are not the same. So much has changed. Things are quiet in my back garden. I can't see any of the beautiful pink Canadian roses. Not the blood red David Austin. Some of the white, purple and red seasonal flowers are still there. Holding their breath, staying strong, keeping the atmosphere alive with their sheepish smile. The trees around are standing quietly waiting for the days ahead. There is a wait and still feeling all around. The sun up above is not in full bloom still awake trying his eyes wide open. Time flies and things change....

  It's a long weekend. Monday is closed for Thanksgiving. My neighborhood is a bit quiet. Cars are staying on driveways for orders to move.  I can't see any birds in my garden. Black Squirrel used to come early in the morning. He comes for his exercises on the fence of my back garden. He didn't come today. I think everyone is busy at home with the preparations for their family gatherings.Turkey has to be done before. It is the main dish to put on the dinner table for families. I believe that life is the same for everyone with some ups and downs. Some take it hard. Some try to go with the flow. They don't take things too seriously. I think how to live your life is an art. Some are good at that. We don’t have to take it too hard. That makes it worse. Not easy to control after. Mornings are the face of our day. It plays a key part in making our days. Handle your day with a good start. Try to enjoy your mornings. Life will all be good.

      It's morning, time to have breakfast. The weather looks great, not too cold. I am sitting on one of the red knitted chairs in my back garden. My son got four of these steel chairs years ago from Home Depot. We don't use these chairs so often. Just in a couple of summer days we get a chance to have a seat here to enjoy our back garden. Not on rainy days and not in winter time. Summer for us in Canada comes like a visitor. It doesn't stay long. We look forward to summer days to get ready to hit roads and waters. We all know that it will be short. We try to make maximum use of its short and sweet stay. This is the beauty of Canada that every season is intense, comes in full bloom. Summer time sometimes we have to come across scorching temperatures with plus forty centigrade. Sitting in gardens won't be comfortable on those days. I miss It's Pink flowers. David Austin, the blood red rose flower plant is a slow one. It needs extra time to revive. There is not much activity in the flower bed at the back of my garden. There are a couple of plants, not blooming.  Weather is still a bit on the cool side. Not favorable to plant. We used to get a variety of seasonal plants every year.   We are still waiting for summer in Canada. Still have to dig out our coat closets to bundle up. Rain usually comes late at night or early mornings to brighten our gardens.
