Waiting for Butterflies

 No photo description available.

We are still waiting for summer in Canada. Still have to dig out our coat closets to bundle up. Rain usually comes late at night or early mornings to brighten our gardens. Grass is now turned into lush green with no brown patches in between.

My front garden is looking great. The Magnolia tree on the left is loaded with beautiful peach color flowers with a pinkish hue. Red wooden bench is shining under the tree, adding up the beauty of my garden.

Skeleton trees look happy. Green already started running through their bodies. Looks like soon they will be back on the track.

Twin Towers, the two tall trees in the front garden of my next door neighbor, started renovating their apartments to rent out. So much has changed in the past few weeks. It already started looking like a festive atmosphere. People are now in a festive mood.

My back garden is a bit slow. Not so much activity there. I am waiting for my beautiful pink Canadian roses. It comes early, not like my blood red David Austin roses plant. That takes time to revive.

Plants are also like we humans. Everyone is unique with its own individuality, with its own habits and characteristics. We don't have to interfere. We have to take it easy. Let them take their time to start to open up, to mingle with the public.

The flower bed at the back of my garden looks not so busy. Not much activity there. Things are slow. I am waiting for the flowers to bloom. For birds and butterflies to be back. To brighten up my garden.

My friend the Black Squirrel started coming for his exercises on the wooden fence of my garden. He is very careful about his body. Tries to maintain his shape, building muscles. Walking around, I think to top up his steps.

It's 11.30, I am going to the Coffee House to enjoy my walk. To have some fresh air and change of scenery, always works out. It helps to elevate our mood.

We start feeling better with a positive attitude. Any physical activity is good for our bodies as well as for our mind. Keeps us away from thinking negatives.
