Family dinner Today

Beautiful morning, sunny and bright. Weather is great, 15 C. No rain, no clouds, it is a clear blue sky. I am done with my breakfast, now sitting in my room with my switched on computer. Blinds of my windows, are drawn up. I am enjoying scenic view of the outside world.

Magnolia tree is loaded with beautiful flowers of many pink shades. It is looking great. Grass is lush green. Red wooden bench is shining, under the sun, on the left side of my front garden. Couple of birds are walking around, enjoying their time. It is summer time. Time to get out, to hit the roads. To go to lakes and Trails, to make plans, to enjoy.

It is 11.15, my youngest daughter is calling me from Reading. She is putting me on video call, to show me her dress and her cooking. She is going to a get together dinner. All her three sisters will be there. One of my niece arranged that, in honor of the newly wed, Bride and Groom. I mean, it is for my eldest daughter's welcome party.

All of my four daughters will be there with their families. It is a one dish party, everyone will  bring something, trying to pitch in, to share the load. They already decided the menu, together. I am happy for them. We parents always want to see their kids to get along, to enjoy together. 

Everyone is different with a different personality. It is hard, especially after kids have their own families. So many people of different nature, with their own opinions, not easy to get along, to get together to enjoy. It needs lots of patience. Patience is virtue, always dissolves issues, to spread peace and harmony. It is key for all situations and for all occasions. 

We, Humans are social animals, need company to enjoy our time. We have to honor, other people's difference of opinions and respect their emotions. It is very important for family binding, to communicate, to connect, to stay together.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
