It is Tuesday beautiful bright sunny morning with 11 below 0 C
I am not working today, it is my calls and walk day. I am skipping
my walk just trying to be cautious. I will make some calls.
I called my sister back home, also called my younger brother
he lives in Markham with his daughter.
I also called to my sister in law, she lives in Aurora. I called my
school friend, she lives in London. I also called one of my friend
from my university days. She lives in Markham, we talk every
week to keep connected.
My son having pot luck at his work place. One time I made potato
patties, everyone liked that, now I make every year. We feel good
when people like our cooking.
I already microwaved potatoes, mix spices and make patties
when I go downstairs after 3 pm. I go to give snacks to my
grand kids when they are back from school.
When we give happiness to anyone, we always get happiness in
turn. Everything is give and take nothing is one sided. We have
to get involved with the family we live with. This keeps us busy
and away from loneliness.

Dear Madam Smile, you so good You write good to. I go Mr. Supervisor and say him how you. He say I lot busy, any I help you? I say I come to give you hello. He say I no understand. I say it give and take so if I say hello, then you say helo. He say you no work? I say yes but I still need hello. He say I tell you me busy. I think he sick because his voice get loud and alergy. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

The retirees were first perplexed that you were making food for the potluck lunch for your son but then we realized that it is YOU, so we were not surprised after that. The reason we were surprised was because we never cook food for our kids, they usually pick it up from the store or their spouses cook it for them. We do not cook lunches or dinners as it is a lot of work though some retirees do cook sometimes eg during Christmas or some special occasions like that. We were not surprised because you are a famous cook with recipes being used in 5 star properties and hospitals

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. Prof George asked the Dean if it is safe, but the Dean smiled and said that it probably would be fine but we need to keep a close eye. The great friends and the students have been coming in regularly for the reading but some of the senior professors are raising concerns because they dont stay quiet during the reading and the professors find it distracting. The Dean however is in favour of having them there, he said that though it is distracting at times but it does provide a fun atmosphere. He wanted to get your thoughts about this. He said that though it is a seemingly trivial matter but he is trying to balance the rights of the professors and everyone else for a calm and peaceful reading against the rights of everyone else to the reading of your blog. He said if you can please give it some thought then he will appreciate it
