Not to miss his Exams
Father has to realize why one person
has to ring bell, he is lazy not Hannah
He is behaving like a baby
It is Tuesday cloudy morning with 3 degrees below 0 C
rain is on the way. Today I had to wake up a bit early as
I have my six monthly eye specialist appointment at 9 am.
It is 8 am, I am on my way.
It is not too far just 20 minutes away at Leslie and Don Mills
but there will be morning traffic. In Toronto usually 8 lanes,
4 lanes for ongoing and 4 for upcoming traffic still morning
and evening traffic is a mess.
We are not stuck for hours like in England Motorways.
Traffic is a bit slow and just stuck for couple of minutes
so nothing to complain.
On the way I saw a loner black bird on the grey cloudy sky.
It is 8.50 am, I am at doctor's office, a bit early before my
appointment. I don't like to be late.
Yesterday I got 2 good News. One was that My Master Golden
got sixth position in inter school computer programming
competition. We got Pizza for dinner to celebrate.
We always have to value the achievements of our kids
to boost their initiative and to flourish their talents.
The second good News for me was that my Youngest Daughter
who lives in Reading, England, got her first job. She was going
through lots of problems from her in laws.
They are sort of bed ridden for years so need special needs and at that
stage people lose their temper, so you can imagine, much worse than
"Father". I appreciate my daughter for being so tolerant and patient.
I believe Patience is virtue, always the best tools to sort out problems
in all circumstances. She somehow made it possible to take an exit
for couple of hours for her own self. I am happy for her.
It is 9 am, I am done with my eye check up, I am now planning to go
to Fairview Mall, not too far but I have to take two buses. The first
one from clinic to Don Mills then transfer to the 2nd bus to the Mall.
It is 10 am, I am sitting in the Food Court at McDonald, enjoying
my half and half coffee, writing my blog. My son will pick me up
after. We have to appreciate our kids what they are able to do for us.
Our kids have to handle their work, their family and then on top
we parents always give them hard time to give assurance of
our presence. We have to be reasonable and considerate.

DeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Customers are flocking to my shop as normal. Customers are upset that Smile has to take 2 buses after her eye examination.

SWN was fun too. We also talked about the blog. Some participants had copies of the her blog because they could not believe that she was left to fend for herself after an EYE appointment. They were amazed at Smile's resilience

We know that you have asked your readers to not comment about your son's irresponsible and callous behaviour but the retirees could not help but passing a resolution to condemn this behaviour. We did not understand how he left you by yourself after this appointment. The retirees also passed a second resolution to express our satisfaction that your eye examination went well. ReplyDeleteYou wont believe what happened today. Your blog made us all very emotional . We could not even imagine that any one can be as self centered that they would leave the patient, let alone his own mother, at an eye clinic and then drive away. Some of the students who are bad sons and bad daughters were also surprised. Prof George asked us to read the blog again because he thought that we made a mistake in the reading but when he heard for the 3rd time that you went back on your own, and in TWO buses, then he had tears streaming from his eyes. The Dean simply fell to the ground. The Smile Army simply lost it and they started yelling slogans against your son. They were very loud. The police officers who come to listen to the blog try to control them but because they were in plain clothes, the Smile Army started hitting them as they didnt recognize who they are. Basicaly the Smile Army thought that they are supporting your son, so they took out their anger on the officers. The Dean and Prof George were very distraught and very emptional so they could not control the Smile Army also. It was simply a mess. It is a good thing that your son was not here otherwise he would be blue and purple by the time the reading was done

We found your today's journal entry very distressing. Like your other global readership, we continue to be pleased with the progressive improvement in your health. We were gratified to note the resumption of your sojourn to the coffee house, aka Tim Horton's . We also enjoyed, as your grandson did, when you took him under your wings for a trip to the local eatery. It was all a sign that things are heading in the right direction. We were therefore very disturbed to read that you were left unattended during your visit to the ophthalmologist . We could not fathom, how someone can be so callous. Despite the unfortunate behaviours and antics of the past, we still would not have guessed that this is a possibility, even with the young gentleman. We were relieved that you reached the Fairview Mall safely. Needless to say that this is a tribute to your perseverance and cheerful characteristics of taking everything, no matter how bad, in stride.
ReplyDeleteThe heroics of Master Golden did not go past our observation. We also appreciated your youngest daughter's employment. Please extend our felicitation to him if you may. Reading is a scenic, upscale town in Berkshire and we have had some pleasant memories there.
