It is Thursday bright and sunny morning with 13 below 0 C
Red wooden bench looking beautiful on my front garden. 
I can not see any birds or squirrels, I am sort of worried for 
them now.

 Trees are quite as still no leaves except on the evergreen
ones. It is end of March. Next is April.We know April 
showers and May flowers, so nothing to worry about. 
Have patience, we can wait. 

 Today is funeral of one of the members from our club. 
I don't want to miss that. We have to share people's time
of happiness and specially at the time when they are 
going through difficult moments.

 She was not my friend still I knew her. Not so many people
wanted to go so it looks I wont get a ride as I don't ask everyone
for my ride. It doesn't look nice to bother. 

 These are very few moments when I feel that I don't drive otherwise
I could have gone the places I love to go but I believe that part of
God is in everyone's heart. He knows for sure what we thinking.

 One of my friend, who rarely comes to darts or bowling, called
me. She also wanted to go so we went together. I didn't miss
the funeral, which I so badly wanted to attend. Thank You God.

 Yesterday my son had pot luck at his office, I make potato patties
every year for that party. Social Committee from his office sent me
some stuff as a thank you gesture. That was great of them.
It was enough to make my day.

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are a lot of people who are coming. Most people come to read the blog before going home or to the pub. It is a festive atmosphere. The priest is also here. Some customers are saying hello to him . He brought veggie omelette and is giving it to customers after they say Morning Smile

      There were mixed emotions in the SWS today. People were really happy to see today's blog however when everyone realized that it is Friday, they were feeling a little gloomy.

I say when video kid want go friend house, do you take? She say yes of course. I say and what if he want go some other place, I say yes I take other place to but why you ask. I say because my Madam need go funeral and her only son no take her. When he kid, Madam take him all place but now he no take her. She say but he take to library .     Dear Advisor,

    The retirees appreciated your blog today. We specially appreciated the fact that you provide us advice in a very timely manner. Based on your feedback and instructions, we have now started to use your recipe from yesterday. We have also shared your advice with the hospital administrator, she also shared her gratitude for your comment. They are now starting to serve this recipe to the patients.

    The retirees were not surprised that you get a thank you for your effort of contributing to the pot luck. We are not surprised because you are an amazing cook with your famous recipes. Some retirees again mentioned that they dont understand why you are the one who is making food for the pot luck. The retired chief executive however said that this is something that you prefer. All retirees however were of the view that irrespective of that, you should not be asked to do too much since you are still not 100%.

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the Smile Garden today. The Smile Army was very excited today but they did not raise any slogans or misbehaved. The Great Friends were upset that you had to look for a ride to go to a funeral and your son did not take you there. They were also upset because he is asking you to cook food for his potluck. Prof George asked them to not comment on these matters as this is personal but it was clear that he shared some of the frustration as well. The Dean however did not say anything and simply looked down when this discussion was taking place

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want.
