Tooting Broadway
Today I was at my Cousin Place
in Tooting Broadway
it is Tube Station Junction
20 minutes away from
Thornton Heath
my Daughter's Place
I noticed flower baskets hanging
outside the Pub painted in black
colorful flowers looking
beautiful on black walls
Light Blue color of Cafe Nero
Italian Coffee Chain
My cousin is in very bad shape
after his stroke his left side affected
so was lying in special hospital bed
I was thinking of my last Trip
when he was full of life
very active used to hop in buses
to see me on the very first day
of my arrival
How things change you never know
what will be the next
Enjoy the Moment you have
time will never come back
don't wait for tomorrow
it will be a bonus
Try to make use of time you have
so that we wont have any Regret
+1

As a recently retired person, I can attest to what Smile has indicated, that it is important to live in the present. She has said this in more eloquent terms than myself though

Good thoughts from Smile on this
ReplyDeleteThis blog contrasts with the other ones that Smile has been writing. This is more philosophical, whereas the other ones are about travel. Good variety
ReplyDelete@mrizvi: Perhaps you will like to read this one for a change
I am enjoying these blogs. I don't feel like I am a newbie here. Thanks Smile and the family for welcoming me
ReplyDeleteRegarding mrizvi, I am wondering if anyone has any other thoughts about the profile I presented ie she is a 20ish girl, rebellious, slightly immature, and strong headed. Not willing to learn however dedicated.
I also have drawn some profiles for some of you. Let me know if you are interested and I can share them.
@mrizvi: Feel free to challenge me if you think I am mistaken

Dear Smile,
ReplyDeleteI posted my comment earlier, it hasn't gotten through and so I will post again. Thank you for writing such wisdom, my daughter has introduced me to your blog and I am hooked already. I loved your post on Peak District, I will be sure to visit that while I am in England. I cannot thank you enough, honestly and truly, for your posts. To me, your words are advice on how to live positively and enjoy life.

Dear Smile,
