Pretend to Be Happy

Shakespeare says people are like actors 
play their part and leave
We all are actors
Everyone is living alone here
those who pretend to be Happy
are never alone 

If we cry we cry alone when we
laugh whole world laugh with us
practice to be happy
Try to enjoy your own company
you will get used to it 

Now I start my Today's Blog

Today my Son left for Toronto with his
Family his 3 Boys also gone
my two other Daughters went
back to Reading and Grimsby
I am at Thornton Heath with one of
my Daughters
She is busy with her kids and Husband

Today is very quiet so I have to push 
myself to get out
I had shower went to nearby Off License
Shop to get My Day Bus Pass for 4.50 Pounds
Top up my Lycamobile for 5 pounds

In London Transit is costly still very good
I wanted to have a walk so decided to take
Bus # 264  ---  10 minutes away
I like it's Scenic Route it goes through Farm like
Area on a narrow road very long nearly 40 minutes
route to Tooting Broadway

I have no Plans just to roam around
it is very hot and Sunny today
speed within city is 30 miles
Camera everywhere

I am enjoying the beautiful scenic journey
when you are retired you are rich in time
No pressure
My Grade 7th school friend called me
She didn't have my Cell No
she checked from my daughters to get my number

You can not imagine how lucky 
I feel about myself
She called me for tomorrow Day spend Plans
She lives on Regent Street in the
Heart of City Center
I told you when we laugh whole world
laugh with us so
she wants to spend time with me
Thank You God for give me strength
to be Happy and Enjoy my own Company

    My Smile is awesome. Her only son and his family left my Smile and yet she was able to overcome this by creating a busy schedule. She does not need anyone to make her happy but can create a happy environment with her positive attitude.

    I wish her son can read some of these blogs

    My Smile is the best. I loved her idea of pretending to be happy. I read an article somewhere that if you keep pretending to be happy then you will eventually be happy. Thank you Smile for continuing to write to us. Your son should have realized that when you are by yourself, you will feel lonely. I hope he is a regular reader of your blogs

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
