I got Bus # 127 from Tooting Broadway
just opposite from Mcdonalds
it is very long route to Purley
around 40 minutes
I like that as it goes through
Small Ponds with ducks
also some farms and green areas
I always take the front seat at the Upper Deck
to have a feel like I am enjoying a Tour Bus Ride

Now I am at Purley Tesco Extra
It is the place I used to come with
my Daughter who now lives in Grimsby

I opened my Memory Box to have a taste
and feel of the Past Memories
I am now sitting at Tesco Cafe
enjoying Toasted Raisin Biscuits
with butter and small Cappuccino

I also got a black striped Top for
Myself size 8 cost me 12 Pounds
sometimes you have to give Treat
to yourself
I picked 2 Bananas for 13 Pence
as from here to Thornton Heath will be a
long journey

I am now at Purley Train Station just
5 minutes walk from Tesco
waiting for Bus # 289
My daughter House # 45 is on
the same Street just there
now she moved to Grimsby
It reminds me of years old memorable days
I switched my Back Memory Button to enjoy

    I was thinking that your only son can at least take care of these things for you. I did not realize that you are doing all the posting yourself. My dad is 65 and he can barely use a computer

    Please don't be offended that I haven't commented in a while. Smile, I'm so sorry I hope you forgive me but I have been writing my own poetry, the best way I do this is to isolate myself from everything and go to my room with only a paper and pen. Yet, I find this makes me so lonely, I'm away from civilisation for three days to get the most out of myself. If it isn't too much of an issue, can you give me some advice on how you write and what gets your creativity going?

    @ mrizvi: I have been really low key in my reproach of your attitude but your today's comments have really infuriated me. Did you even read anyone's comments? Did you even read Smile's blog? People are falling over each other to let her know what an amazing job she is doing, how she is inspiring all of us, and yet you did not have anything more to say!

    Newbie thinks that you 20 yrs old so going through a phase but I dont really care how old you are. You gotta learn!! How will you grow up

    @ Readers family: I am also disappointed with Smile's only son. He should be taking better care of her. At a minimum fix the computer issues for her so she can continue her creative work. Because he is our Smile's son, I dont want to say much except that I felt really bad today when she was trying to post her blogs and he is sitting pretty at a nice comfy office somewhere.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
