Hubbards Hills

30 minutes away from Grimsby
near Louth is Hubbards Hills
nice place to enjoy
big park and 10 minutes Hiking Trail which
leads to water fall not so big as of
Peak District still very scenic

specially I liked the trail very
convenient to walk nice view
all around from the hilly place
beside that was a narrow road and
by the side of that was a
small old country side Restaurant
Old Mill House

at the entrance of that restaurant were
two very old wooden barrow
with bucket at it's bottom and
two steel Rollers in each barrow on top
Each was size of small kids buggy
not big enough
I don't know what was that for

small Church, sign at the lane was
Gaspel Gate

I noticed that Gas was 1.10 pound per liter

We were enjoying just walking around
that small scenic place
quiet and very relaxing atmosphere
We need to have Refuge from our
today's busy life for a while
to have our own quality time

  2. My Smile is the best. She always think of her readers wherever she goes

@mrizvi: Since you are "technically" a reader, it is about time you start reading

  3. Dear Madam Smile, you painted such a picture of this place, that I can imagine it by reading your blog. Thank you for doing that

@ mrizvi: Please read. You can visit it without getting off the carpet

  4. I am not sure if this is an appropriate forum to ask this question but reading through some of the past blog posts, I thought I will take a chance. Please feel free to tell me to "go away" if you want

I am going through a challenging time. I am recently retired. I am finding the retirement difficult as I used to be so active and now am having a challenge to go through a regular day as I have too much time and less things to do. My 2 kids are both married and independent. My wife passed away a few years ago, so I am effectively on my own. I used to rely on my work network but did not realize how much dependency I have on that. I don't have a hobby which I should have established. I am active and in decent physical health.

I accidently came across this blog a few days ago and have been hooked on to it ever since then. Though I enjoy the travelogue you are writing but it is your earlier blogs that interested me more and caused me to write. As I said, I don't know if I should be troubling you with my mundane issues so will not be offended if you ask me to take a hike

  5. Hello Anonymous, My Smile has been providing help to others so hopefully she will be able to help you too.

@mrizvi: Please read the comment from anonymous. He was honest and admitted that he started reading recently.

  6. I thoroughly enjoyed today's blog, Smile. I have had the opportunity to be in England several times and this brings back good memories of my time there. Thanks again for sharing.

By the way, every time I read these blogs I always want to apologize as I requested you to write when you are on your vacation. At a selfish level, I am glad that I did as I enjoy them, however it is unfair to you, as some others have pointed out.

    Take care,
    Dave

  7. I told you all that my Smile is a psychatrist. People are flocking to her for her advice.

@ anonymous: Whoever you are, dont worry, my Smile will not disappoint you. She has helped others before you. She treats us as her family

@ mrizvi: Please read, and you will gain so much from her

  8. Smile is the best. She writes so illustrative blogs and also takes the time to remain connected with us. All this while she is on vacation with her only son and 3 daughters

@ anonymous: Dont worry as you have come to the right place to get advice on how to lead a happy and stressful life.

@ newbie: ARe you still coming to this site?

  9. @ Plunker: Yes I am still coming here. Like you guys, I have got addicted to this blog as well. I also dont comment every day though as I dont think i an qualified to do that

Thank you Smile and you all for welcoming me so warm heartedly. Much appreciated. I also have a theory about mrizvi, that I thought I can share with you. I was trying to figure out her persona, and I think she is a teenager or in her early 20s. Her attitude is very rebellious (ie typical teenager). Because of this attitude, anything that is good, she wants to rebel against it, she despises authority, wants to thump her nose. All in all, a typical immature individual. I think it is positive that she is coming here to write her useless comments as one day she may read these posts as well and that will likely transform her

@mrizvi: Please feel free to correct me about you
