York to Grimsby

England

We had a different route to Grimsby
2 hours drive from York
by the roadside small Wind Mill tea shop
only farms and farm houses
in between farms very small
village of around 25 houses
all of red bricks

One Chimney shaped small
White gift shop
White moon on clear sky
we are passing through hilly area
it is 8.30 pm will reach Grimsby
at 9.30 pm

Passing through Humber Bridge
it is the first longest suspension Bridge
of England
We have to pay 1.50 pound Toll

Light pink streaks on clear sky
with scattered dark grey patches
it is Sunset time
one side of sky is reddish orange

With scenic green view along the road
and all these colors
such a beautiful atmosphere
Now moon turns golden as it is getting dark
I am enjoying the whole Trip
Enjoy the Days of Life
You have in Hand

  11. Dear Smile, You describe the parts of England that one forgets even exists. It is often the smaller towns like York and Grimsby that have so much more to offer than bigger towns. You write of such peace and tranquility, I want to find that aswell. Thank you again for sharing your travels with us, I'll be sure to visit York when I can.

@recent retiree please do not judge the way I spend my days in England, nor how I spend my leisure time. I also do not need to justify myself to you, as I'm sure Smile will agree. Reading and commenting on Smile's blogs give me pleasure, and I am surprised I am being confronted for the exact same thing you are doing. Let us keep it civil and friendly for Smile, we owe her that much for all that she does for us.

  12. Smile,

You are incredibly gifted with your writing, I almost get lost whilst reading into your scenic descriptions. It is a nice break from a busy day. I was wondering if your future blog posts could be about your past? A past memory or something, I was looking back at the post about your mother and father, those are the posts I enjoyed the most.
