Cleetorpe Train Station

I am at Cleethorpe Beach with my three daughters
and my only son
all of their families with me

I soaked my feet into sea water 
I won't like to wet my clothes
my Grand kids were in water
others were walking around
by the water

What an atmosphere to enjoy
water beside you
Cleethorpe is a tourist spot
so it is a festive atmosphere here

When I saw the train tracks
I started trying to find Train Station 
small train stations are my favorite

I am sitting at the station at
platform # 1 on the shiny steel bench
it is 3 pm
Cleethorpe is the last stop after Grimsby
train terminates here
only 3 platforms at the station
1st train going to Manchester at 3.20 pm

It is a Tourist Spot so not quiet
in front just opposite the train tracks
is Fantasy land and
the kids play area is by the Seaside
I am so fond of such places

My Kids calling me to join
the picnic they must be waiting for me
they are thinking
I am getting bored

We always have to answer our Kids Call 
Keep in mind if they stop calling  you
we loose them
they don't need us 
We have to keep connection alive

I am enjoying the sea and the breeze
so much to enjoy

I see the Train very small just 3 Bogies
train is about to leave passengers are 
rushing
now a very different atmosphere

Between train station and sea is the
main road
it is an open air station the two ft
fence of the station is painted blue

Couple of blue wooden planters are
arranged by the fence
full of Red white and pink flowers
Now on platform # 2 single Bogie Train 
is there from Grimsby

Water was very high at 3 pm now at 5 pm
water receded meters away
I see only wet sand
where white sea gulls are walking everywhere
having their quality time
people started leaving from seaside to
the fun area and now Fish and chips 
shops are fully crowded

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
