Peak District

Yesterday I went to Peak District
from Grimsby it is 2 and a half hours drive
we started at 12.15 pm
I saw Scunthorpe and Lincon Exit signs
very scenic view road was lined up by
Green trees on both sides

Next sign was of  Doncaster
from where you can get direct
Train to London

Whole area is like a Countryside
farms sheep cows horses and
very few scattered houses
just after 15 minutes I see Exit sign
for Leeds, Hull, Newark
Sheffield and Notingham

Sherwood Forest also there
all the sightseeing places signs
are of brown color
then comes Derby and Woodall
service station

Where we had a stop over then
continued our Trip to Peak District
from here very different scenic view
this is all Derbyshire
We are passing through Matlock
a very old different town
old style housing small " Blue Toops " pub
winding roads

it all reminded me of Ireland
Specially drive from Limerick to Cork
at some places look like an
aerial view from airplane
it was sort of valley

from there to Hights of Abraham
you can enjoy Cable Cars ride
must be very costly
parking was 1.30 ponds per hour
this was all Bakewell small old style town
" Magpie Antique Shop "
small city Center  " Sainsbury " grocery store
was between small hills
Brown sign of " Carriage Museum "

Exit sign of Manchester and Buxton
we passed that 3 miles away was
Monsel Head beautiful Fall at the
end of sort of hiking trail
parking same 1.30 pond per hour
it was worth seeing
I was hearing after long long time
Cock --- a  ---  doodle   ---  doo

To Buxton now 30 minutes further
small old town we can see everything there
University of Derby building on one side
opposite to the road was beautiful
Opera House, Old Hall Hotel
The Tea Chest, Coffee Bar
the Old Court House very different
eye catching sign boards
passing through the small Train Station
no time to stop there

On the way back we were passing
" Handmade Chocolates of the Peak "
the roadside small shops
sunset was like an orange Hue
in the whole big area
sign of " Sheep Dog Trials "
Passing through Sheffield
going back to Grimsby
back home at 10 pm night
this was a beautiful Day Trip

  8. Dear Newbie reader, of course you can join us. I dont think Smile will mind. She takes us through a journey through England every day. She is on holidays in England and takes the time to write for us

As for mrizvi, we ask her to read as she comments every day but we dont think that she reads the blogs. Smile is very gracious as she recognizes mrizvi regularly and even credited her for the blogs.
