Waiting for the Next Episode
Sunday -- Beautiful hot morning 22 C now, will be 39 later in the afternoon. Last night I was having good sound sleep. It doesn't happen so often. I got up early, at 4 in the morning. I was in the middle, enjoying my beautiful dream. I pushed myself back, to try some sleep to continue that. I wanted to watch that, complete to the end. But during my sleep, there was something else to watch, not the next episode. Anyway I was happy, satisfied, no regrets. I tired.
I think if we want something, we have to try to accomplish, to achieve that. After that we don't feel dejected. We accept the outcome and move on. Case is closed. We go to the next chapter, to write our book, the story of our life.
Our day to day activities are sort of the pages, we go on printing to compile in the form of our book, the story of our life. Everyone is busy in the printing press, I think the press is this world of ours, we live in.We are free to pick and choose, what to write in our story book, in our book of life.We have to make our book wonderful, unique, full of joy, full of life.
We have to feel proud of our work. It will give us inner peace, inner joy. Our book, story of our life has to be a good one. It reflects the face of our character, our personality. We have to leave for others to go through the copy of that book.
Try to make it sort of exemplary for the next generation, to gather something from that. I think, this will be fulfillment of our duties and accomplishment of our assignments from God. I think, this is our obligation.

ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Sunday, there are a lot of people who are coming. Most people come to read the blog before going home or to the pub. It is a festive atmosphere. The councillor also came with some other officials today. She was saying Thank You to you for keeping our small town festive and alive. She said that your words are like magic. With just a few words last week, you turned around the entire situation.

She has launched an initiative and calling to "making change". We have also advised our customer service department to devise a strategy base on this

ReplyDeleteThe retirees went for our long walk today but we had to abandon it after 5 minutes as we went for our walk yesterday. Usually we dont go for back to back walks but we wanted to go for the walk as you often go for your 10 min walk on back to back days and we wanted to experience that too. The retirees were not able to complete it though. As usual, some called their kids to come and give them a ride back.
The retirees are surprised that you push yourself to get up. The retirees dont do that. If we dont get good night sleep then we sleep for most of the afternoon though some retirees get up at around noon.
The Smile with Smile subcommittee is asking for your advice as kids are going back to school. In many cases, the school is asking for a decision about online learning or in-school classes. The parents want the kids to go for in-class learning but kids prefer online. The parents are of the view that by going for in-class learning, the kids will be forced to get up early. Also the parents are asking for your advice about the video gaming activities that the kids are engaged in. Most kids play all night and this is cause in a lot of frustration for the parents. Can you help
There was a major development today. There were people from another temple who came. They said that they have done extensive research on your recipe blogs and based on that they believe that you are Indian because most of the recipes are Indian recipes. They said that there are a lot of Indians live in England and based on that they have concluded that you Indian and a Hindu since most Indians are Hindus. The hijab lady said that there are people from her temple who are Indians too but the Hindu temple people said that you are a very polished author and almost all people like that in India are Hindus. The retired priest was not here today so he did not participate in the discussion. After hearing this convincing argument, some retirees are planning to learn more about India and its culture. Some also wished each other Namskay as you probably do

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Garden today. It is still very hot but the rain has helped improve the temperature. We need to have the weekend readings at the Smile Garden because there are a lot of people and they wont fit in the SRC. As usual, Mrs. Lucy was here with food. She always wants to serve food based on your recipe. She says that it is a goodwill gesture and encourages everyone to come for the reading.
The dean of computer science again requested us to ask you about the company that you hired to update the packaging for your blogs. He said that he will reach out to the company to discuss some research that the students may benefit from
The students are continuing to have a very challenging times with our parents. In some cases, the parents are thinking of taking 1 day off to make it a long weekend. The parents are saying that they took the extra day for us so we should spend time with them but this is emotional blackmail as we never asked them to take the day off. The students don't know what we will do for 3 days of vacation. We are also concerned that parents may get the idea and take the entire week off. Also some parents keep asking us silly questions like what time did you go to sleep, who are you meeting, what did you do. And even when we tell them the details, they dont believe us anyways. This is completely ridiculous. We know the lucky guy, Master Golden and the Slurpee boy wont have to go through this but for the rest of us, its a big issue

I am just banging my head against the wall. There is absolutely nothing which is working. I have tried to be kind, I have tried to be harsh, I have tried to be reasonable but it just is not working. And yet Smile wants us to be nice to everyone in this forum
