Monday -- Beautiful morning 18 C, will be 30 later in the afternoon. August is running out, September is getting closer. Things are changing slowly for we Canadians. Now our mornings are below 20 C and afternoons not so hot like 42 C of the last week. 

We are all set for our September weather. Just bring it on. We already learned our lessons to get along and how to enjoy with whatever we can. For now we are busy with enjoying our summer. We know that not many days left. We have to bundle up soon.

It is 10.15, I am in my room. My computer is switched on. Not much activity there. Not many messages to go through. My daughters are busy with their family matters. They messaged me to give updates. Schools are about to open, they have to finalize couple of things before.

My daughter, the middle one is back from Scotland. She called me from Grimsby. She was busy with setting things up, doing laundry, cleaning and other such day to day matters. After coming back from trips, we need time to get things back on track.

It is busy, at my place too. We are renovating our backyard. People are here, it will take couple of days, for the work to be done. To add up colors to our lives, we have to change the things around, once a while.

It is 11.30, I am in my kitchen to make banana shake for my son and for myself. He taken two weeks off, which is done today. Now he is back to work, busy with his computer and meetings. 

My body not in a mode to fully cooperate with my day plans. I have to take that into account, have to be considerate, have to slow down a bit. My back giving me problem for couple of days. I was not paying any attention. It is my fault, not my body's. I was not listening.

We have to mend things before getting too far. It takes a while to get things back on track after. Not to face the reality is an easy option. We mostly go for that and try to avoid the real facts of life. Reality looks not so rosy as our imaginary world of fairy tale. But we have to be back to reality. Accept the facts the sooner, the better, to sort things out, to streamline our lives.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
