Thursday -- Beautiful quiet morning 13 C. No rain for now. Today
is busy day for me. Our basement renovation is done so now I can do 
my laundry. Our washer dryer is in basement so laundry was on hold.
Things are now back on track.

 Today I have to change my bed sheets so will do two loads. I usually do 
that in the morning, why to stuck for the whole day.Today was different.
My eldest grandson had his early morning appointment in fracture clinic.

 My son wants to do his laundry before taking him there. It was fine.
We made adjustments. Nothing is end of the world. We don't have to 
take things like a big deal.

 It is 11.45, I am done with one load, another one is in dryer. I am making 
mango shake for my son and for my grandson.They will be happy, must 
be back from hospital, any time soon.To see smile on their faces, 
will be enough to make my day.

 Spreading happiness around, always makes you happy.What goes around 
comes back to you. It is so simple. It is 12,15, I am done with my downstairs
things, now time for my own self.

I am in my room, with my computer, talking to my daughters. Day was
nearly done for them.They live in different time zone.They were busy with 
their dinner preparations. 

We don't talk long, just to connect, we talk every day.They are busy with  
their own family, don't have much time for we parents. We have to keep 
that in mind. 

 We don't have to put them on spot for saying "No", to talk. That will be 
tough to handle for we parents. After having small talk, take a quick exit,
to maintain the existing relationship. It works for all relationships.

We have to keep ourselves busy with our own things, to enjoy our own lives.
Not have to look at our kids to help us out, to carry on our day to day 
activities. By doing that, we start losing our self confidence.

 Our body start losing it's strength. What we don't use, we lose. We don't 
have to do all that, to ruin our old age era.This is the golden stage of cycle 
of life. Try to celebrate. Plan your things, to enjoy this precious time of 
yours. We now have time to do whatever we like to do, to have fun.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
