Friday -- It is 10 in the morning. Beautiful sunny breezy day. I am in 
my room, enjoying my cup of tea and the company of my computer. 
My daughter, the middle one is done with her exams. My youngest 
daughter messaged me. She will be going to make a conference call. 

 She will connect with, whoever will be available. My son is busy with his 
work. My eldest daughter lives in Edmonton. She is in the time zone of
two hours behind that in Toronto and seven hours of that in England.

 She is working too so I don' t think she will be there. Anyway, I use to 
talk to her in late afternoons or at night. While making calls,we have 
to keep in mind the time that will be good for the other person.

 Our calls must be, welcome ones, to make that person's day, not to ruin 
that.Today I don't have to do my hair wash, no laundry. I have to find 
things to get busy with my day. I will make carrot desert. Everyone 
likes that.

 We have to live in day tight compartment. Leave no space, no time for  
negative thoughts. Of course I will make banana shake for my son and  
for myself, will empty the dishwasher and make lunch for my son.

 I do that as my daily routine activities. We have to contribute in the 
household, we live in. I cut fruits to give night time snacks to my grand 
kids. It feels good, to put smile on the faces around. What goes around 
comes back to you. Such a simple recipe for happy living.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
