Make use of Your Moments in Hand

7 Landscaping Ideas for Beginners | Better Homes & Gardens

Saturday -- Hot humid beautiful sunny morning. It is 21 C will be 25 C
later. It is 10.30, I am done with my breakfast, sitting in the TV lounge,
enjoying my cup of tea. News channel is on, watching Headlines News
and also the scenic view of my back garden.

It is 11.15, I am in my room with the company of my computer.
Just couple of weeks back, on weekends, I used to go to Tim Horton,
to have my small French vanilla with half hot water, to enjoy my time
alone slot and to write my Blog.

On weekdays, my schedule used to be, to get ready to leave at 9.15 for
my work place, I mean for my library, to play Darts and Carpet Bowling.
Darts from 10 to 12 and Bowling from 1 pm to 3 pm. I used to spend the
time in between, in browsing my favorite magazines.

Time flies, things change. We have to adjust our schedule to coordinate
with the existing lock down situation.Things are not the same. We have
limitations, still there is so much to enjoy to have good time.

Present moments go on slipping from our hand to be turned into Past,
after that we wont be able to turn the page. We don't know what will
be in the days ahead, I mean in our Future. Hold your Present moment,
to make use, to enjoy to have good time.

It is 12.30, I am at Petticoat Creek, walking on the trail. On my right,
water is sparkling silver, in between are many shades of blue. On my left,
it is displaying all shades of black, some portions are pitch black.

There is so much green all around. Most of the trees are about 18 to 20 ft
tall. It is hot here. I am taking refuge under one of these trees. Great
view from this spot.

On the surface of  deep black water, two beautiful white Swans floating
with six of their kids. You can stay for hours to enjoy these peaceful,
relaxing moments. This is sort of meditation, therapeutic,

Time flies things change. We never know God forbid, our health might not
be the same, to let us go around to enjoy to do the things, we are able to do
today. Value your moments. Make use of whatever is there. There is always
something. Drain every moment to get happiness from.

  6. Dear Advisor,

The retirees are very appreciative of your blogs. The retirees are not being able to do joint readings because the cafe is closed. Some retirees are thinking to meet outside the cafe to read blog because the takeouts are allowed. Though the government has approved such gatherings, we wanted to get your approval for that. We never do anything without your approval

Many retirees noted that you are enjoying your time and continuing to keep active. We stay home. In some cases, retirees dont even feel coming out of their rooms. Your blogs are a window to the outside world for us.

    thank you

  8. Dear Author,

The Dean contacted me today. He mentioned that him, Prof George and some other professors want to thank you for ensuring that you are using your powerful words to keep the morale high during these unusual times.

The students are continued to have a terrible time with our parents. The parents are asking us to do things in 60 minutes notice. We cant do things right away. We need at least a day's notice as we are sometimes in the middle of our game our doing something else, like talking to our friends, taking a nap etc. The parents think that this is useless work but it is important for us.

Also they expect us to be involved in housework like cleaning, organizing etc. They dont ask us to do the cleaning but they still discuss with us to get us involved. This along with long lectures of 2 minutes every 2-3 weeks is driving us crazy. One student was saying that her mom was giving her the eye when she has 2 cokes a day. What the hell is this! Now they are even tracking what we eat and drink. How far will they take it. This is stupid. We know that master golden, Slurpee Boy and the lucky guy are not going through this but for us, its a big problem

    thank you

  9. We apologize in advance for taking up your invaluable time. We know that you are pre-occupied in addressing the COVID 19 challenges but we wanted to follow up on our commentary from a few days ago. We have been able to confirm that your advice from your previous blog about the significance of police attire was crucial in helping diffuse challenging situations in the north east part of the troubled country. Our understanding is that the situation has been widely covered in the print and visual media. Due to the confidentiality between the nations and the personnel involved, I am not at liberty to comment more on the situation however I can provide some high level details. An allied country is facing some challenges due to the unfortunate policing incident. As I am involved in the committee overseeing communication at the national level here, we were able to quickly reach out to our allies over the pond with some vital details and specific suggestions about how to diffuse the situation. The information was based on your proven guideline where you handled the situation at the local university here. The fact the police officers were not in the battle gear was absolutely critical in building trust. We passed this information to the partners overseas. To be candid, they were reluctant at first but we were able to confer with them. And the rest, as they say, is history. On behalf of myself, the police officers overseas as well as the protestors, we want to thank you for your help. We dont believe that the media covered it completely but the reason why some of the officers were smiling was to pay tribute to you. Our COVID 19 task force at the national level forbade them to speak to the media in more detail due to confidentiality, security and privacy reasons. Had we not done that, they would have revealed your identity to the media and thank you personally on air.

As the COVID 19 challenges continue, we plan to make more use of your sagacious advice in managing the domestic activities

Thank you for making our day brighter
    Dave and Linda
