Thursday -- Beautiful morning 23 C will be hot 32 later. It is 9.30, I am 
enjoying my morning tea, sitting in the TV lounge, watching my favorite 
show. I like old shows, I think we like what we can relate to.

 It is 10.15, I am in my room with my computer. Enjoying my time, 
watching the scenic view of my front garden through my bed room 
window and also browsing my Facebook messages.

 We have to divide our day, into slots.Time to do our routine activities.
Time to enjoy.Time to socialize, to connect with family and friends.
These are all like faucets, to drain happiness.

Yesterday was my Mom's death anniversary. I called my brother, sisters
and also to my childhood grade five friend. She lives in London, England. 

 I also called one of my other friend. She lives in Markham, 20 minutes 
away from my place, Pickering. We did our Masters together, more than 
half a century back. It is great to share your special moments with your 
loved ones, specially your moments of grief. 

Today is my grandson's birthday, of the middle one, Master Golden. 
I made special sweet dish of his choice. I feel great to be part of his 
special day. We will order some nice dinner, to celebrate.

It is 5.30, I am at Petticoat Creek, enjoying the scenic view, the beautiful 
lake. Ducks floating on the deep blue body of water. Seagulls are around.
Birds busy in chit chat, enjoying their company. Life is good.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
