Solution Lies Within You

I go to my Seniors Club enjoy
playing Darts and Carpet Bowling
I don't drive so my friend used
to pick me up
it is only 5 minutes drive
but no direct bus service to
the library I mean to the Club

In November my friend had to
undergo her heart surgery
so my home transport service 
was about to be discontinued

It looked to me that I was stuck
not easy to ask favor from people
staying home was the only option
left for me

I decided to use Public transport
Library opens at 9.30 am
I start my journey 9.10 am
take Bus # 120 then transfer to
Bus # 900 to reach
my favorite destination

I sit in the Library for a while
Read books, Magazines
and try to write something
My Club starts at 10 am
I am so relaxed and happy
that I sorted out things for myself

Sometimes it looks that
we are stuck and no way out
but we have to keep in mind
there is always light
at the end of Tunnel
and also that we are not alone

God is watching over us
we have to tackle and solve problems 
on our own No one cares 
Please keep in Mind
Problem lies within you
Solution always lies within you

    It is true that there are solutions, but I think it requires will power to make use of them. Also there is a fear of the unknown - unknown events, unknown people, unknown unknowns

    Hello Smile, I am right here. I have been busy with work and was waiting to get home to read my Smile's blog. My Smile's blog is the relaxation time for me.

    BTW, I am glad that you were able to continue going to the senior's club and didnt let your friend's surgery prevent you from your enjoyable time.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
