waiting for my Boarding
I am heavily loaded
with my Trolley and Computer

London is highly unpredictable
in even summer time you might need winter coat
my sweater is already
packed in my suitcase
now I am carrying my
winter coat too

I don't want to miss my walk so
Trolley is full of shoes
not the new ones
London is full of surprises
might be rain, hot or could be cold
so all my comfortable old shoes
and slippers are there
I have to carry my winter coat too
as you might need your winter coat
in the middle of July
In London you never know

Air Canada used to be a good Airline
now the seats are compact
so I have to struggle while pushing
my luggage through the narrow passage

There used to be Screen with every seat
and also full big TV screen
Now it all gone
They Made an announcement to connect the personal
computers for Movie or whatever people want

With 7 plus hours journey
and after that very long line up
at the Immigration
nearly hour and a half

anyway after all this when I saw
my smiling Daughter waiting 
at London Gatwick airport
Nothing mattered anymore

God provides us so many opportunities
to gather flowers of Happiness
for us nothing so exciting
than our children taking
time off from work and family
to be with us

I am so Thankful to God Almighty
for giving me ability
to Travel and move around
To be with my family

Try to be in the Moment
It is so precious
Time flies and who knows about
Tomorrow
Celebrate Today with Gratitude
and be Happy

    Sounded like our Smile did not have the easiest of journeys but she sill was able to see it with a positive lens

    Hi Smile, glad that you made it safely to London. You must be tired. I feel guilty of asking you to write regularly. I have a selfish need for these blogs but don't feel compelled if there are other pressing engagements

    As for the blog, there may be surprises in a distant land but no surprises when it comes to the positivity in your blogs

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
