Today I am leaving Croydon 
We are on Thornton Heath Road
going towards Grimsby

Houses looking so beautiful with
small front gardens full of
pink and yellow English Roses
Roads full of green trees on both sides
it looks like roads have green shelter overhead

Turning from Croydon to Purley
small hilly area fully covered with green
Red buses so typical of London are passing by
We crossed the big Tesco I used to do
groceries here

Now towards Highway very scenic Drive
hilly patches and grassy lands

My daughter's Mercedez had an accident
now in workshop
so we have to fit in the smaller Peugeot
Fully loaded with all our carry on

We have to take M1 motorway via M25
M25 is circular motorway
it connects different areas of London
very busy road it took double the usual time
One and half hour extra

Passing through  Milton Keyns
Northampton, Peterboro
we are now crossing Newark
Newark is one and half hours
away from Grimsby

Last year coming by Train
I changed train from Newark
no Direct train from London to Grimsby

Temperature is 31 today
from London to Grimsby 4 hours drive but
you can never calculate your journey time
London is so unpredictable with
so much traffic jam
we started at 12 .30pm
reached our destination at 7.30 pm

It is the same time as flying hours
from Toronto to London England

While travelling I try to absorb the
passing scenery, the view
I know when  I will come here next time
the Timing, Season, my Mood and my Health
Everything will be changed
Try to enjoy Today 
The present Moment is everything

    Our Smile is living it large. She lives in a mansion, has kids with Mercedes, trots all over the world and has a readership all over the world! Plus if there are obstacles along the way, she uses her positivity lens to go through it.

    We have so much to learn from her.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
