It keeps connection alive
It is Saturday mixed sunny and cloudy morning with 9 C. Rain is on the
way. It is long weekend here. Monday is Thanks Giving Day so it is closed
holiday. For me it will be very long weekend as I don't work on Tuesdays
so I will be back to work on Wednesday.
My Eldest came on Friday night for a week from his Uni. My Youngest
Master Slurpee is not happy as he has to vacate his room for his brother.
He moved his stuff I mean his PS four, Monitor and everything in the
small closet room downstairs. He will sleep in Master Golden's room,
his bed is already there.
When Kids are back, Siblings have to share their space and Gadgets, which
they don't like. We have to ask our kids to bring small treats like chocolates
for their brothers / sisters. It will help to dilute tension. It helps at our place.
On the first day of Uni at the parents orientation session, there were so
many topics to make life comfortable for the Kids in their school days at
home and at Uni. They advised parents to give back the same place, same
room, whenever, Kids come home during vacation.
Their idea was that, this place is sort of link, works like bond between
kids and their families. To keep connection alive. Gives ownership
and strength to be part of family. I think it works well. My Eldest was
sure where he has to take his suitcase and where to go to have good night
sleep.
Father is very selfish. He didn't learn his lesson. I think I have to ask
Hannah and Niklas to leave. Father making their lives miserable.
Kris Dear ask Father to behave and leave everyone alone.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Sunday, their lots of out of town customers too. They first went to the church where priest gave a good sermon. He used a lots of words and passages from your past blogs. Customers were smiling. I am out of biscuits but the customers said that they dont care, they are here for the blog not for biscuits.

ReplyDeleteDear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteThe retirees went for our long walk today. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees were very tired as we are out of practice for the few days. We had our lollipop after that.
The Smile with Smile program committee chair led the reading of the blog. They were appreciative because it has been a long time since the blog reading has become normal. They also thanked you for the tip that you shared about the returning uni students.
The retired priest was asked if he wants to join the committee on religious tolerance but he said that he will wait for your direction. After you called him your friend, his attitude has changed significantly. The hijab lady was not here today.
thank you
recent retiree
Dear Author,
ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Garden today. The students are having a difficult time when we go home. Our parents expect us to do everything that you we used to do when we were kids. They dont realize that we need space. We need to spend time with our friends, Mrs. Lucy was still upset with your son and after giving everyone snack she asked us all to send a prayer for your well being when we go to church. Most of us dont go to church, but today we all did. After coming back from church we played dart
