I Love My Dining Table
Rainy day still bright and beautiful, 9 C feels like 6 C. I am having my
breakfast sitting beside my kitchen. My oatmeal porridge and stir
fried egg is right here on my small dining table. We don't use our
dining room. It is once a while sort of thing.
Our Dining room is sort of study room for my Youngest, Slurpee Boy
and computer room for my Daughter in law. We use it when we invite
guests. At that time we have to clear the stuff out and make arrangement
for a proper dinner.
So I am sitting beside the small table. It has six chairs all around, enough
for the whole family, but not fancy ones. I like this table because it is beside
the patio door. I can enjoy the scenic view of my back garden through
the big glass panels.
Rain drops are showering on the clear glass top of my patio table. It is
amazing. You can watch for hours to enjoy. So beautiful, so peaceful.
I wish if I could also listen to the music of the rain drops.
Rain just stopped. I see the pearls all around the glass top of my patio
table. Trees looking beautiful, decorated with pearls. Sunshine adding up
the beauty, giving glitter to these pearls. I told you there is always
something around to give you happiness.
Black squirrel is back in the Gym, on the wooden fence of my Back
Garden. He looks serious to watch over his weight and body, started
coming back every day, may be he is in some relationship nowadays.
I am not working on Tuesdays. I have other plans to get busy. I have to
make couple of calls, one to my friend, she lives in Markham. We used
to be together in our Uni days. More than half a century back. To keep
our connection alive, we use to talk once a week.
Weather looks great so right now I am getting ready to go for my walk.
Calls can wait. I will do that later. I am also planning to bake chicken
patties to put on the dinner table for my family. I can do that, I have
whole day beside me.
Just got your comments. I can not figure out, how come you people find my
Blog sort of sad. It is not, believe me. Dear Retirees please try to understand.
I went to get groceries at night with my Son.
I want to say that beside my walk in day time, I am fine, going for such
activities too. I enjoy to get out. Please don't cancel any of your activities.
We have to enjoy every bit of it.
Life is gift from God. We have to value every moment of our life.
Kris Dear Father is having so many dishes in his breakfast. He is fine.
He has to sleep in his room. Why is he in TV room all the time. I am worried
about Hannah. Niklas has to enjoy his game time. 20 minutes are nothing.
Kids play all the times.
+1

ReplyDeleteDear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteThe retirees went for our long walk today. As usual, it was a long walk just under 10 mins with a few breaks in between. Our walk, though very long for us is nothing compared to the ones that you take. After that we had our lollipop
The retirees are very appreciative of your blog today. We are humbled that you considered us worthy of your advice and guidance. The retirees also want to express our most sincere apology as we could not completely comprehend your blog from yesterday and misunderstood the message. Truth be told that your blogs are quite complicated and though you use folksy language, it does require us multiple readings sometimes with the help of retired experts. This is a testament to your expertise and depth of knowledge. As for your advice, we will review it in detail. We have called a special meeting and invited retired behavioral consultants to determine what we got wrong.
Once again, please forgive us for our ineptness
thank you

Dear Author,
ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. It was a very noisy reading event. Though there was a pin drop silence, during the reading of the blog, as normal but after the reading the faculty of anesthesiology professors said that Smile is in her late 30s or early 40s. The Smile Army told them that you in your 70s but they said that it is not possible as not even a 50 year old will choose to go for a walk in these brutal arctic temperatures. The Smile Army tool it as a challenge to your blogs and started yelling slogans. Prof George needed some time to calm them down and explain to the idiots that they are not challenging you, they are simply saying that these blogs are not easy. The Dean was not here today as he and the Chancellor had to go to some meeting at an international conference.
thank you
