Blue Trampoline and Basket Ball Pole

It is Sunday bright beautiful mixed sunny and cloudy morning with 8 C
below zero. I am done with my breakfast sitting in the TV lounge. News
channel is on, I am not much interested in that. I am enjoying view of my
back garden, through the big glass panel.

Big Trampoline of Royal blue in color, looking beautiful in the center of my
backyard. I started thinking how things change. It was just matter of couple
of years, it used to be full with so many kids around.

My Eldest, Master Golden and Slurpee Boy with all of their friends used to
enjoy jumping over, playing ball games on this Trampoline. We used to be
on guard to watch over, to make sure no one going to be hurt.

Our backyard used to be full of life, kids shouting and running around to
catch each other. It used to be fun atmosphere around. Kids are now grown
up. They are no more kids. Some gone to Uni. some are in High school.

Trampoline giving a deserted look, same is the Basket ball pole, at my front
yard. We have to value the moments in hand. Present is everything. Past is
done, we can not turn the page.

But there is always something to give you happiness. If we look around,
there is always something. Now I get happiness watching black Squirrel,
the white Butterfly, the pear tree, the wooden fence, the red bench, glass top
of the patio table and all the Gold in my back garden.

My backyard is still full of life. Life is always beautiful, it is the way
you look at it, that only matters. Glass is half full not half empty.

Dear Retirees I am not happy with the Lady why she always talks about
her Religion. I am also a bit scared that now the Priest got an idea to have
Christmas Bazar at Church and he will force everyone to attend. Religion
is very personal. Keep it like that.

Please let Blog Reading Sessions out of Religious Discussions. By the way
I go for everything so it was not only to celebrate Christmas. My Son was
going to get groceries after dinner. I went with him too, it was snowing and
12 C below zero.

I like to go alone, not like Father who needs two people to walk around.
We don't have to bother others for our own personal enjoyment. My Son
knows that very  well so please don't blame him.

Dear Reader doing 2 Jobs please stay away from Wicked Worker. If she
celebrates still don't have her cakes and biscuits. She is not your friend.

  7. Dear Advisor,

The retirees went for our long walk today. As usual, it was a long walk just under 10 mins with a few breaks in between. Our walk, though very long for us is nothing compared to the ones that you take. After that we had our lollipop

The retirees were amazed that you are always positive. The retirees noted that you always manage to find a positive aspect in every situation. The retired mental health specialist said that in most cases people used to come to her, feeling low about empty nest scenario yet in your case, you flipped the situation and enjoyed the new scenario.

The retired priest said that as per your instructions he will not force anyone to come to the Christmas bazaar but this is that time of the year and he will request everyone to donate.

    thank you
    recent retiree

  8. Dear Author,

We read your blog at the SRC today. The faculty of sociology was invited to the reading today. This is the first time that some of the senior professors listened to the blog. They were simply blown away. They asked the Dean if you are a global sociology professor or consultant. The Dean simply smiled and said that you are much more than that. They asked for more specifics but the Dean said that you are a master of many traits.

Some of the students are very upset with their parents that they keep threatening to cut the internet or cut the phone many times. In one case, the student was threatened at least 2 times in 2 months. In both cases it was because he forgot to close the car door at night and couple of nocturnal animals made it inside the car. Of course the student knew that there is no one that they will do that

    thank you
