Yesterday it was snowing whole
night now 10 cm everywhere
Driveway also a mess

But I am happy as I got my
picture postcard scenic view
which I was missing so long

All trees with white stuff some
giving a look of Christmas tree
some trees with white blossom

Snow got stuck on the leaves
and staying there making it more
beautiful  like cherry on top

As I mentioned before it is Canada
nothing stops life goes on as routine
today is Monday so I am getting
ready for my Club to play Darts

 Sitting in the library now by the
Fire place in my favorite bluish grey
sofa chair 

 Just talked to my friends here and
now writing my Blog feels like
I am talking to you guys to
My Readers Family

I will be done with Darts at 12
have to go to my youngest
grandson inter school Basket Ball
game he was very excited 

I will go at 3 pm to watch the game
it will make him happy
make me happy as well  to cherish
the beautiful moment
My Day will be memorable

 At 6 pm my son was going to Gym
so I was ready to go to Mall
to walk around had small hot chocolate
as at night time I avoid Coffee

I love to live in day tight compartment
it solves so many problems
makes your Life easy and 
also brings Happiness around

      The second Smile Forum also had more people than planned. There is a lot of interest. I will add a 5th session as I don't think 4 will be enough.

      SWS had a great turnout. We continued to take the long route which included lots of Christmas decorations as the team wanted to enjoy it. They said that Smile enjoys it so we should to

      For SWN, we took the nature route as Smile loves nature and participants were talking about some of her blogs which focused on nature. We also had lots of people, actually more than we hoped for

    Dear Madam Smile, you lots energy. You enjoy nature. You no scared of cold weather or cold snow. You no like other senior people. You teach basketball to son son. You also teach hockey to son sons. You go mall. You busy busy schedule. I do 2 job but you you busy than me. You kind and write blog every day. I keep blog pocket and read night.

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees continue to marvel that you can do so many different activities in a single day. For the average retirees, they don't do these activities in months, though our younger members (ie the one in their 50s) do these in 1 week, provided the temperature is mild.

    We are still working through the details to get you the data to advise us about the walking. As it is taking us some time, some of the members are requesting if you can share some additional insights with us. We are asking because some of the retirees are feeling low due to weather. We are also noticing that there are more issues at home.

    I lost the race to post the blog on our corporate notice boards. It was already posted there when I got there. I also noticed that there was a donut near one of the noticeboard. I had half the donut

    Father say that you lot energy. You too much outing. You very busy schedule. He say he no busy schedule like you even when he was working. He say he do 1 thing 1 week. Like he watch light on house that I put 1 day and next week, he go mall 1 day, and next week he go 10 min walk with me if weather ok. He say he old, almost 67. He say he no understand how you do this. He say he no play dart as it too difficult. He no understand it. Also no no how to add nos. He say it too difficult.

    Your blogs have been very refreshing and inspiring for us. Like many others, our tendency has been to hibernate during the cold season. Courtesy your animated and vivacious blogs, we have been braving the cold and engaging in seemingly trivial, yet sprightly activities to burnish our days.

    Bottom line, we have been existing and you are showing us how to live.

    We were planning on using the blog as an ice breaker for one of our corporate meetings, however instead of being a conversation starter, it turned out to be the main conversational point. Lots of respect from the meeting attendees for Smile. They skimmed through her previous blogs and were absolutely floored. I ended up getting a lot of respect as well, just because I am reading these blogs!!

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
