Christmas Gifts ?

Dear Happy Reader
I hope you started writing
your daily Happy Journal

I mean just write down
the Happy Moments
you enjoyed or relaxed
for a while

When you averted the bad moments
even if you enjoyed your tea 
or anything
Please start doing that

I am praying for you



Yesterday night my son has
to pick his son up from one of
his friend's place

I was done with my dinner
finishing my tea so was
ready to go with him

It is Christmas time such a
beautiful atmosphere so many
houses were decorated with
Christmas lights

I am getting now confused
with all the advancements
of Technology

It is so difficult to think about
what to give to my grand kids
at Christmas time same is with
their Birthdays and when they
get high Grades in their School

I remember my time when it
was easy for our parents to
make us happy

Even small amount of money
and small gift was enough to
brighten our faces

Nowadays it looks they don't
need anything from us not even
money

Happiness looks like lost it's color
the big celebration parties look
phony to me

I think we are lost somewhere
between enjoyment and Happiness

We are becoming more self centered
with our computer on we don't want
anyone to be around

With Home delivery Mama's kitchen
is closed anyway our life style is
transformed we can't even think of
living without internet

Our kitchen is fully equipped
we get our clothes dried in minutes
who needs Sun now to hang our
laundry out

Our houses have central heating
so no need of burning logs and
whole family has to gather around
and have to talk

But time changes I remember my
Mom used to talk about her time
when the whole community
used to be like a family

I think it is part of advancement
you have take the whole package
things change

Personal visits changed into phone
calls now into text messages
Face book wiped out our writing
letters and Mail

We are more connected but our hands
are in so many things keeping us
busy all the time we can't figure out
what is the real Happiness

We are having enjoyment
killing our time and distracting
ourselves from all the stress 

Stress we go through from work
and from day to day family issues
no one has time to listen and share

We have more doctor's visit we
go to gym we are all self centered 
with our diet and fitness plans

Our pockets are heavy with cash
and credit cards we have to go to
casinos to empty our pockets
arrange big parties and plan Trips

I am not sure I was able to discuss
the topic of stress caused due to
Advancement of Technology in our life
