Every Action Counts
To My Retiree Group Readers
Please continue your Meetings
these are very valuable
We have to connect with people
it always gives Happiness and
bring peace to our Life
You people are doing Great job
Keep this connection alive
We have to make phone calls
to at least two people
to connect to take our stress
out and brighten our Day
Thursday was our monthly club
meeting at 1 pm after that indoor
golf at 2 pm
It was Zero in the morning
my friend was busy so not
coming to pick me up
I made up my mind to go
when there is a Will there is
always a Way
I followed my summer routine
for my bus journey that is
from Whites Road bus # 120
then from Kingston Road
Bus # 900 to library
I started my journey at 10.45
I was at Library at 11.30
I am going to library for years
they know me well
When one of my friend was
shaking hand she realized
that I am cold
She immediately put the
Fire place on to make me cozy
Sometimes little act of kindness
makes another person's Day
while doing things don't ever feel
that they wont count
Even our small actions may
brighten someone's Moments
enough to feel Happy for you too
Remember the 3rd Law of Motion
what goes comes back I always say
that whether this Law is still
valid or not
I strongly believe that
Try to spread Happiness
on the Faces around
it will be coming back to you
to brighten your Day
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. I posted late today as I went to the city to get supplies. These supplies used to last for 4-6 weeks now they run out in less than a week.

Dear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteThe retirees appreciated your support for process. Retirees noted that you also appreciated the kind acts of others. The retired professor of psychology pointed out that this is important for happiness. Most retirees are not completely clear on what the relationship between happiness and kindness, when you get a chance if you can please elaborate.
The retirees are also waiting for your advice on walking. We have postponed the Smile Walk until we have had a chance to benefit from your additional comments.

This is a nice blog. I come to it every day for some relaxation and respite. It is my first comment however as I am a little shy
ReplyDeletethank you
We found this blog to be very inspirational. You chose to not stay home and be deterred by the set back of your friend not coming to pick you up. You handled adversity head on and elected to rely on the good folks of the public transit system to transport you to your intended destination.
ReplyDeleteThe pleasant treatment you got there is a testament to the strength your relationships.
Thank you for writing every day

ReplyDeleteThough some found this blog to be inspirational, I read it differently. What I gathered from it is that Smile is sharing the recipe of happiness. She is telling us that we should try to communicate and talk to people to be happy.
