My Club Meeting

It is Thursday sunny and bright. In the morning was a right drizzle,
not rain still it helped to cool down a bit. From yesterday's 42 C,
now it is 28 C, quite a relief.

Every first Thursday of the month, we have our Senior Club meeting
at 1 pm. It is 9.30, I am done with my breakfast. Everyone gone only me
and my Son are home. He is off this week.

My Eldest is in London at Uni. Master Golden and My Youngest,
Master Slurpee, are at Dunbarton High School. My Daughter in law is
at work.

I am sitting in the TV lounge, watching "Little House in The Prairie" with
my Son, also enjoying the scenic view of my Back Garden, through the big
glass windows.

Two white Butterflies talking to the beautiful red Bougainvillea flowers.
Two Black squirrels playing hide and seek under the pear tree. It is 10.30
I am at Costco.

My Son has to get some groceries. I am sitting on red wooden bench in the
Food court, writing my Blog. From Costco, I will go to the library for my
Club meeting. I am all set for that. I have my small navy blue bag with me.

Master Golden got this bag as a gift from his summer job. He gave it to me.
I use it as a souvenir, a symbol of love from my grandson. My Son is done
with the groceries. He will drive me to the library for my Meeting. I have to
go now, talk to you later.

Dear Retirees please don't blame anyone for my Blogs. It is not end of
the world. Just relax and focus on your work, to handle the Kids issue.
I trust you people can handle that.

Dear Reader doing 2 Jobs, it is not fair that you didn't give the medicine
to your colleague. Don't talk about Blog and don't make personal comment
but you have to help others also focus on your work.

  1. I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are lot of customers here. I have bought extra biscuits as it has become a tradition in our small town that locals come here and read blog before going back to their homes or pub

    3. I hosted the Toastmasters meeting today as Kim was not available. Today's toastmasters meeting had an open agenda ie people can discuss any topic that they want but the only topic that was discussed was Smile blog. People wanted to talk about her positive attitude and her kindness to her readers.

  7. Dear Advisor,

The retirees went for our long walk today. As usual, it was a long walk just under 10 mins with a few breaks in between. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. Afterwards, we had our lollipop.

The retirees have concluded our detailed assessment of the blogs and we think that there may be a miscommunication. The authorities are planning to take the young temple kids away from the parents because they believe that the temple parents are bullying their kids. The kids will be given in custody to other parents. I think in Canada they are called foster parents. The foster parents will then raise the kids in their (ie Foster Parents') own values and traditions. If the foster parent is not temple parent, then unfortunately the kids will not be going to temple.

Our original strategy was to challenge the assertions of the authorities on legal grounds. That is why we set up the legal committee which involved the retired lawyers as well as practicing attorneys. We know that you dont like the legal complications and we thought that you asked us to disband the temple legal aid committee hence we disbanded it. We then thought that we can take care of the kids, but we get the impression that you are not in favor of that as well. We realize that we are wasting a lot of precious time however it will be helpful if you can help suggest the path that we should take

    thank you

  8. Dear Author,

We read your blog at the SRC today. The students are continuing to have a really difficult time. Our parents are bullying us. They want us to call every week and when we call they give us lecutrures. We are thinking of not calling but they pay for our bills. We apologize to bore you with these details but we know that you can relate to teenager issues and are sympathetic to us. Also, you give us moral help all the time.

    thank you
