Smile Recipes -------- Lentil Soup
Lentils are full of proteins, will be very delicious
and easy to cook. Take any split lentil, I have taken
orange split ones.
Wash three times in a pot, don't use water with full force.
Wash slowly and gently, this way it will be easy to handle.
Now put some water in that pot.
Put the pot on high flame, don't cover the pot.
Let it boil for 5 minutes, stir in between.
Throw the white foamy stuff out of the pot, using spoon.
There has to be enough water left in the pot
otherwise you can add some more.
Lower the flame to medium.
Now in the pot add couple of garlic cloves peeled
Chopped onion, chopped fresh tomato
Pinch of salt, pinch of red chili powder.
Couple of Black pepper.
Put some cooking oil
I use olive oil - two table spoon.
Cover the pot, lower the flame a bit lower.
Leave for 15 minutes, now stir with spoon.
Cover the pot and leave for 20 minutes.
It is done now.
It will be very tasty, you can have it like soup or
Have with rice or any bread of your choice.
You can add salt and pepper to your taste.
Keep it in the fridge, it will be good for a week.
