It happens, don't you worry.
It is Wednesday bright, sunny beautiful day with 6 below 0 C
I am working full time today darts, also playing carpet bowling.
It is 9.15 I am sitting in the billiard room, writing my blog.
For now I am thinking about my dear Retirees. I believe
my friends that being old is not any disease or disability.
It is just an stage of life with lots of experience on our
resume.
We can tackle our life very well but I am sorry to say that
it doesn't happen in most cases. We start developing all sort
of phobia, which affects not only our life, but the lives of
people we live with.
We become age conscious, that is the main disaster factor.
We believe that we are being eldest in the family, we start
demanding respect from every member of the family.
Our ego is always there to make things difficult for everyone,
specially for us. Our ego takes us to the road of unhappiness.
It is always there to misguide us that our family not taking
care of us and not giving enough respect.
We take our experience of life in a very negative way.
We try to impose our decisions to everyone. We try to take
command of the entire family. We start dictating them and
can not take any difference of opinion.
We are never ready to compromise, all this makes everyone's
life a hell, even our's. We demand we need an especial treatment
from everyone. We need separate TV and special menu has to be
served on our demand. Look at Father case, everyone suffering
because of him.
I believe we have to focus on our life, find our hobbies and leave
everyone alone. Let them enjoy their life and stop interfering in
their day to day matters. Life will be easy for everyone believe me.

Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. I go Mr. Supervisor and say how you. He say I ok. I say you no alergy? He say what you talk? I think he still some alergy because he red. I say you need find hoby. He say what you mean? I say it no good to demand special treatment. He say you ok what you mean, I no demand special treatment. I say like you want special room, like big room with you compeeter and phone and printer. I think he lot alergy so I go. I do 2 ok job and always read blog

ReplyDeleteThe retirees appreciate your blogs today. The retired nutritionist led the reading of your recipe blog today. She shared the honours with the retired dietician. The cafe manager was very happy and was going gaga over it. The retired chef was already making plans to send the recipe to the 5 star properties as it very popular. The hospital administrator said that the patients continue to have very favourable views of the "Smile improves health and mind" program. They said that this recipe will add to the recipes which already exist They are easy to make and very nourishing
The retirees appreciate your second blog today. We found it complicated and inspiring at the same time. We will need a few days to further dig into this as it is quite involved. We have set up a committee involving retired as well as active members of the university to further analyze this The retired psychologist and the retired neurologist are heading this committee. The committee has about 11 members but we will likely need to grow this to 15 as it is very complicated and deep. You probably had to spend about 1-2 months researching this topic for which we are very grateful

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog today at the Smile Garden. The Smile Army was still very embarrassed about their actions from 2 days ago. They were finding hard to look Prof George in the eyes. They said sorry many times. They also brought the veggie omelette from your recipe which we ate. Prof George was doing a lot to keep the environment normal and calm. He does not joke often but today was smiling which is somewhat unusual for him as he is generally very sober and serious. The Dean was here today and was heard saying to Prof George that things are not going well and he may have to bother Smile. Prof George said that this is a very complicated case and even Smile will likely not be able to do anything. After the reading of hte blog they both went straight to a meeting room where they were seen talking with other senior faculty members and Department heads. It looks like a very serious situation but we dont know what to do
