My Dear Readers
Please keep that in mind
my son has to go to work.

 He had no choice and also I don't want
to be like Father, who wants Kris
always to be around.

 We have to make sure that our kids
not to sacrifice their work and their 
family life. We have to co-operate and
not always thinking about us.

It is very painful for me to read all your 
comments to my son, as he never miss
to listen my blog and also comments.
I hope you will understand.

My Dear Readers I Love all of you.
Please don't feel bad. I don't want
to hurt your feelings, not at all, but
I trust my son and love him very much.



It is Thursday Beautiful sunny day, temperature 15 below 0 C
I am not working today, my youngest is not well so I made
chicken soup for him and chicken curry for dinner.

 It is 1.30 pm I am done with my chores also with my 
cooking. Now getting ready for my walk to Tim Horton.
I am all dressed up in layers so it will be fine. 

 I was walking and just after 5 minutes I realized that it was not 
my right judgement about weather and snow. The whole footpath 
was like a marshy land, very difficult to keep my balance.

 I decided to give up my walk and to come back, that was also not 
easy as I was on my midway and I could not figure out what 
has to be done now. It took me about an hour to come back 
with my very small steps, it was like a journey.

 It was possible only by the Grace of God. I have my belief that 
He never leaves His Creatures alone, still I learned my lesson. 
I will now take a break from walking in this weather. It is not 
safe at all, specially for we seniors.

 I had a hot water shower, now enjoying my tea at my home.
I made some calls to my daughters, and to my elder brother, 
he lives in Aurora. I am now writing my blog, talking to my
wonderful readers family, to make my day.

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are lot of customers here. I have bought extra biscuits as it has become a tradition in our small town that locals come here and read blog before going back to their homes or pub. This week there is an even bigger crowd as Smile's blog about teen is very popular.

    I lost the race to post the blog on our corporate notice boards. It was already posted when I got there. Of course, there were a fresh from SDs there with a note that "enjoy these Smile Donuts, courtesy Smile Addict"

      I was in early today so was able to post the blog. The box of SDs was there when I came. There was an extra donut for the person posting the blog.

      I hosted the Toastmasters meeting today as Kim was not available. Today's toastmasters meeting had an open agenda ie people can discuss any topic that they want but the only topic that was discussed was Smile blog. People wanted to talk about her positive attitude and her kindness.

    We read your blog at the cabinet meeting today and were very much inspired by your kindness. One of the VPs commented that this is something that we need to adopt in our corporate culture. He pointed out that though your son did things which others would have found hurtful, you chose to forgive him and not just that, are asking your readers to stop criticizing him. This is an act of extreme generosity and kindness. If we can adopt even 50% of this attitude in our corporate culture, we will be so much better as a company.

    Dear Madam Smile, you so good, you write good to. I go job worker with video kid. I say her how you. She say I busy and no time talk blog. I say I no want talk blog I want ask 1 question. She say ok. I say if video kid do bad thing and peeple yell him, will you feel bad. She say yes but what Madam son do, if video kid do that then I will not feel bad. I say yes I know. I think this because Madam really nice, like she is very very kind. She always forgive all. Like when retiree do bad thing, she no want them to be fire. She say yes. I say but Madam say he listen blog then why he no read. She say yes. I say and he also comment sometime, why he no comment every day. She say yes. I say but what his name. She say may be Keith Walker because he big shot. I say good idea. I say her but how you know what Madam write in blog because I no show you blog. She say she need go. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

      As much as I would love to be related to Smile, unfortunately I am not. Also, I dont think I would treat anyone, let alone my mother be treated the way Smile is getting treated by her son. So yes, I do comment, but I do not have the good fortune of being related to Smile

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees were very concerned after reading your blog. We were concerned for your safety and well being. Since you dont want us to comment on your son, we wont say that we strongly feel that he needs to take much better care of you. You did so much for him and here you are freezing in sub zero weather, trying to figure out how to go back in marshy land! Having said that we did not pass any resolutions as the last thing we want is to cause you pain and giref

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the Smile Garden today. Today was the turn for the faculty of fine arts to listen to the reading however since all the faculty visits are suspended they didnt come. The students and the Smile Army were all very upset that you were stuck in so much snow in -15C. We were wondering why did you not call 999 but Prof George pointed out that probably because your son did not give you a mobile. We wanted to say something strong but the Dean intervened and reminded everyone that you have asked us to not say anything about him so we just bit our tongue. Prof George then mentioned that if all the students and faculty can adopt even a quarter of Smile's kindness and forgiveness, then this will be a very nice place. Dean agreed and said that very few people can have that much generosity because normally, people would not even speak to someone like him let alone trying to defend him. We then prayed for your health.

    Father say father want yell you Kris even if you say no yell because he lot bad. Father say he lot anger so he yel Hannah and Kris and Niklas all time. They say we no do bad. Father say but you can become like him. They say say no can. Father so father bell no work so father yell Kris to give father old bell but he say he lost. Father yel him and call him you son but he say he not that bad. Father say father old almost 67

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
