It is Sunday bright sunny beautiful day with 11 degrees
amazing, summer is just around the corner, but I can not 
go for my walk.

 Doctor recommended me to take bed rest for about a week.
It is too much for me, anyway. I am doing things at a low
pace. Not too much on stairs. Things happen when we 
become older. We have to handle accordingly.

 I am thankful to God that I am managing things on my own
I don't like that people have to serve me, but you never know. 
We don't know future, present moment is everything, we
have to handle the moment in hand.

 My son gone to drop my Eldest to uni at London, it is nearly
three hours drive. I am on my computer, writing my blog.
Thinking about you my Dear Mother in Law.

 How come you are writing so negative and rude comment
about your Daughter in law and expect that she will pay
respect to you. You feeling good that I condemned Her 
comment about you.

 I don't condemn anyone, I gave my advice that we have to 
write something positive or at least neutral. That advice is 
for you too My Dear Friend. It is for everyone that what 
goes around comes around.

      A no. of customers asked me to write again after the special prayer that Priest held. The entire town participated in the prayer session. There were some who came from out of town once they heard that you are not feeling well. There were lots of free food customers were bringing in eg veggie omelette, smoothies, etc. They are all wishing you speedy recovery.

    Dear Madam Smile, you so good, you write good to. Mr. Supervisor come and say helo. I say you come to talk work? He say no, I ask you if you plan go prey. I say yes, He say you no need go because Happy Worker, sick job worker and all call special meeting and all job peeple there. I say I happy that they call meeting, I sad because my Madam sick and I anger because Madam son go long place away and leeve Madam alone. I say him but how you know Madam sick. He say he need go.     The retirees were very concenred when we read your blog today. We cancelled all our meetings The retired priest held a special session in which we prayed for your health. There were a no. of retirees who were openly crying, while all others have tears in their eyes. The cafe manager was offering fee veggie omelette and banana smoothies to all

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the Smile Garden. We originally were reading the blog at the SRC but there were so many students and professors that there was no space in the SRC. Dean then asked us to have the reading at the Smile Garden. There was a very subdued atmosphere with a lot of students openly in tears. Prof George never shows any emotions but was seeing using his handkerchief. Dean was seen putting his hand on his shoulders. The legal team who is helping the Dean wanted to ask him for a meeting time but the Dean responded that today is not the day for that. He instead asked everyone to wish Smile the best. Smile Army went berserk and wanted to shut down the cafeteria and bookstore . Prof George was too distraught to say anything. The great friends were there as well. Dean didnt ask them to go. The police officers also came but they were in their plain clothes. All in all it was a very unusual day

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
