It is 9 degrees and Sunny no rain
no snow a beautiful Morning
I am done with My breakfast
Oatmeal porridge and stir fry egg
I throw away the egg yolk nearly
the whole of it not good at My age
now enjoying My cup of Tea
Sitting in My Family room watching
with My Son " Anne of Green Gables "
the movie with beautiful countryside
scenic atmosphere
In front of Me are the big glass panels
exhibiting the beautiful view of My
Backyard
Grass is lush green couple of Birds
busy in discussion may be trying
to sort out the location to build
their House
OH !! Great I saw a small Rabbit
running through the backyard
black squirrel on the wooden Fence
it is an eye catching view to behold
Now Rabbit is gone Birds ended their
Discussion may be finalized the deal
with their State agent
Squirrels are now on the Pear tree
I am bewildered by all this scenic View
and all the activities going on in
My Backyard
I started planning to go out
I got ready and now walking on
Whites Road to Tim Horton
Dunbarton High school is closed as
it is Sunday so not many Young Faces
at the Coffee House
It is a mixed crowd mostly Middle aged
accompanied with some Old faces
may be their Mom \ Dad
Also some Families with small Kids
nicely dressed may be coming from
Church Service
I mentioned in one of My Blogs earlier
that there will not be any genie to come
to surprise us
In Real Life it never happens
We have to work for it to gather
Flowers of Happiness
While wandering in the Trails of Life
keeping in Mind that Tracks might be
Very Dangerous
At some spots We lose direction
due to Bushes and the uneven
Bumpy Pavements
Keep Your Eyes open to check everything
around don't be scared of the tiresome
journey of Your Life
You are not alone while walking
the Path God is always watching
over His Creatures so nothing
to worry about

I stop because my Madam say enjoy all thing. I stay until it go. Then I keep go to job. Mr. Supervisor say why you late. I say because I want watch grasshopper hop. He say why. I say because my Madam say no jinny come but you enjoy yourself. Mr. Supervisor head hurt. He try shake head but I think it no go away because he hold head when he walk back. ReplyDeleteThe retirees went for our long walk today. After that we had our lollipop. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.
We enjoyed your blog. It provided us good perspective on what are the kind of things that we need to do to get the most our of life. The retired psychologist and the retired councillor also pointed out that your blogs share a very unique perspective that they wished they had when they were practicing. They have since been sharing this with their colleagues who are still practicing. The subcommittee dealing with the "Smile with Smile" material for the school boards also plan to update the collateral with some of the thoughts that you mentioned today
The subcommittee on joint family living is still sifting through your blog from yesterday. They are continuing to believe that we, ie retirees, are extremely valuable members of the household. Some of them have had further discussions with their kids to confront them with this fact.
The subcommittee on nutrition has requested that you provide them with additional advice. They are still researching the contents of the blog that you shared previously about the linkage between happiness and good nutrition and health.

Father say he no bother Niklas but Niklas bother father. Father say you no no Niklas. Niklas very lazee. Father say he need Niklas go with him for walk because Niklas no do anything. Also because if father fall then Niklas can catch father. Father say Hannah make very bad oatmeal you write so he can make resolution. (me no want write this but father yell and say it his comment, so Kris rite what father say). Father say he plan go park tomorrow so he can see rabbit. Father say he no say he old almost 67

This blog helped me a lot in my meeting today. The meeting was going nowhehere and everyone was blaming each other. During the first coffee break I read the blog and that changed everything. People realized that we need to make changes ourselves and no genie will come to help.

ReplyDeleteWe went through your blog at the SRC as per our typical routine. The professors from literature were extremely impressed with you your use of language and tone. They took notes and shared that with the students in their lectures. I was lucky as I happened to be there when they were taking notes and I was able to inquire directly with them. They said that the passage such as:

provides a very good visual description of the scenery. They also highlighted a few more things but I am not including them here as one of the comment editors thought that big authors dont want to see flattering comments about them. I do apologize if you consider this comment to be too flattering aslo. I only included it so I can clarify what the profs were talking about.

You appear to have an unlimited reservoir of a medley of novel ideas and you share them very eloquently with your readership. It is no surprise that you are aptly aptly considered "people's author" by your fan base.
ReplyDeleteOne of our close associate who is a very well-read gentlemen, often compares your work to that of Herriott. The difference, as he has articulated, is that you have a more truism in your work.
We appreciate you writing so regularly for us. We have tried to dabble into writing and our abject efforts has reminded us that writing is no picnic. It requires determination, ingenuity, perseverance and flair. Of course, we are only talking about mortal souls like us. You are in a different league altogether.
