My Dear Friend

Good to have Your

Kris My Dear Friend
You are there for Father
but what about Niklas

Who will be there for Niklas
He needs to be looked after
to have a good Time

His Life not to be just
around Father

It is a very different Scenario Today
Trees are dusted with white powder

Silver Jetta and Red Caravan on
My driveway are covered under
one Cm of snow

The black shingles on top of Houses
all covered under white sheet
Front lawn giving a beautiful Look

Between the white I can see the
green of grass which is making a
Beautiful Pattern

What You say --- It is April
Yes My Dear I know I know

Two days back I was watching the News
on Channel 24 there was lots of snow
in Newfoundland which is a province
of Canada at 3 - 4 Hours air travel distance
from Toronto

There was 40 Cm of snow then after that
the very next day another 40 Cm
They are digging Tunnels to get out of
their houses

I am good in Toronto with just couple of
Cm of snow so No complains

Today I am working full time sitting in
one of the Cubicle in the Library
in 5 minutes have to go to play Darts
in the next room

I will be back in the Library at 12 to
enjoy My own time after that will
play Carpet Bowling from 1 -- 3 pm

Snowy Day didn't ruin My Day
I enjoyed My Activities as usual

  1. I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. There are visitors from out of town who are now coming regularly to Sundays. The priest is happy that is congregation is getting bigger but he knows that people are here for the blog. He joked about it during the sermon. He also used a lot of excerpts from the past Smile blogs in the sermon.

  6. Dear Advisor,

The retirees were not panning on going for our walk today as we were tired from our long walk yesterday. However your blog inspired us to go for our walk. It was not a good idea as the retirees had to abandon the walk midway. Our walk usually takes less than 10 mins including breaks however today the retirees took 20 minutes to cover half the distance and some were so tired that they could not finish and had to be taxied to the cafe. I realize that this walk is not as long as yours, but it is very long for us.

We did go through the reading of the blog to calm everyone down and relax. The retired author was extremely impressed with the imagery that you create in the blog. He pointed out that the words you use, almost made everyone shiver, eg "digging tunnels to get out of their homes" . Again he pointed out that your style is similar to that of Herriot and Bronte.

The retired professional athlete indicated that it is extremely difficult to continue with the routine in this extremely cold weather. He pointed out that the reason you write these things is to inspire us. We appreciate that

I apologize for cutting my comment a bit short but we are out of breadth and have to go rest

    thank you
    recent retiree

  10. Dear Author,

We went to SRC today even though it is the weekend. It was mostly the students who went there though one of our professor also stopped by as we were editing this comment. He was surprised that we are working on a Sunday but quickly understood when we said that we are going through your blog. All the professors and students know that we love these blogs.

I know you inspire the retired ladies and gentlemen with your amazing physical activities but your focus on physicality is an inspiration to us students as well. In fact it was because of your today's blog that one of our fellow student decided to pursue running despite the rainy and wet weather here. To clarify our fellow student is part of the running club and was planning on skipping the run today however after he read your blog he decided that he should do the same as you did ie not weather deter him from his daily plan for physical activity

    thank you
